chapter one

Hayley's POV

I was cooped up in the Mikaelson mansion, Klaus said I was safest here but I didn't feel safe at all. Klaus and Elijah always leave on my own for hours, I got lonely and bored but no matter how much I complained to Klaus he said I was leaving the mansion.

I walked down the stairs to see Klaus and Elijah sitting at the table discussing something so important they didn't even notice I was staring at them.

I cleared my throat making both of them look at me. "Hayley what's the matter love?" Klaus asked leaning back in his chair, Klaus wasn't the nicest to me at first but he's actually starting to act like he cares.

"Um I was just wondering if i could go for a quick walk outside?" I asked with a slight smile but I already knew what the answer was. "Hayley I have told you numerous of times that-" Elijah cut him off by saying "Niklaus please, Hayley has been doing nothing but sitting in her room for weeks don't you think she can for a little walk?" I smiled, Elijah has been being nice to me since he first found out about the pregnancy.

Klaus sighed "You can go for a SMALL walk around the streets of New Orleans and when I say small I mean SMALL." He said strictly, I smiled widely, running over to him and kissing his cheek catching both of us off guard. We both stared at each other in awe until I broke the silence "I better go now." I walked out of the room feeling both of their eyes on me.

I was wondering through the streets of New Orleans enjoying the fresh air and being around other people that wasn't Klaus or Elijah but I couldn't seem to take my mind off Klaus, I was thinking of when I kissed him on the cheek and how we both stared at each other after..then I remembered Elijah was watching I knew he had slight feelings for me and I kinda felt bad for doing it in front of him but hopefully he wasn't that hurt by it.

I was walking back to the Mikaelson manison, I suddenly started to feel nauseous and dizzy, I felt like I was about to pass out. I made my way into the mansion calling out for klaus, him an Elijah came rushing over to see what was wrong but before I could even speak everything went black and the last thing I heard was Klaus calling out my name.

Klaus' POV

I carried Hayley to bedroom laying her down on her bed while Elijah tried calling the witch Sophie Deveraux, It must've had something to do with her sense her and Hayley are still linked.

I stared at Hayley as she layed peacefully, Elijah came in "Sophie is not answering brother." He spoke causing me to stop looking at Hayley, "Well that clearly means something is wrong." I said standing up facing him he was about to speak before a loud groan came from Hayley.

I walked over to her as she woke up "Klaus?" She looked at me "What happened?" She tried sitting up but I made sure she stayed laying down "You passed out love..We think it has something to do with that witch Sophie Deveraux." I spoke softly to her "Is the baby okay?" She asked holding her stomach "The baby is fine" Elijah answered for me, I glared at him but he didn't seem to notice.

"We need to find Sophie" Hayley said sounding more awake now. "We will just not right now love you need to rest." I answered smiling slightly, she smiled back and quickly fell back to sleep.
