"Mmm" I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes. My head was pounding and not in a good way. I snuggled into my pillow trying to sleep away the hangover. As I closed my eyes they quickly opened again when I felt a tug at the blankets. I rolled onto my side so I could see behind me.
Kole laid with his arm covering his eyes, I watched him for a moment before memories of last night invaded my mind. I grabbed him white shirt that laid on the floor beside he covering my chest. I glanced over at the clock to see that I was ten o'clock. Luckily we had canceled today's meetings.
As I shifted on the bed Kole began to stir so I stopped. He looked so peaceful laying there. Innocent looking, but after last night I knew he was anything but. My thoughts were interrupted bu a loud ringing. I slowly got off the bed running to the other side of the room, I whispered "hello?"
"Why are you answering Kole's phone?" Asked a surprised voice.
I looked down to the phone to see that it was indeed Kole's phone. I glanced over at the bed to see Kole watching me. I gulped "I am his assistant. He is currently in a meeting if you would like I could take a message."
He huffed "tell Kole I will ring back later."
Dad hung up before I could even bid him a farewell. I placed the phone back onto the table collecting last nights clothes. I slipped it on over Kole's shirt. He slowly sat up in bed still watching me. I nervously made my way back over to the bed sitting on the corner. His face was masked, I could read what he was feeling. He spoke before me "about last night..."
I shook my head "don't worry about it."
He shook his head "easier said than done."
I threw my self back landing on his legs "we could blame it purely on the alcohol."
He agreed slipping out of the blankets to slip on his underwear and slacks. He sat down beside my head "we could but I know that would be a lie."
I watched him watch me for a moment, waiting for him to explain what he meant "what have we got to lie about?"
He ran the back of his fingers along my cheek "it wasn't just the alcohol, it's the sexual tension and the attraction." I cuddled into his hand craving the warmth his hand brought me, only I didn't want his touch just on my cheek. He asked pleadingly "tell me it wasn't just me."
I shook my head "it wasn't just you Kole."
He smiled "we can just move on, the sexual tension should pass and we can continue to work together and I will just be your dads friend."
I nodded not quit agreeing with what he said. I knew for me I wanted more. I ignored something in me I didn't even know was there. I knew Kole needed to be leaving but I wanted to be selfish with him. He was pulled away when his phone rang for the second time. He picked up straight away. "Hello, Robbie."
He laughed into the phone "yeah, Morgan has been fantastic fit as my assistant. You would be proud of how she has been adjusted at the office. What can I do for you?" His eyes flicked up to me as if he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He mumbled into the phone "I find honesty is always the best path."
I ignored the rest of his conversation, instead, disappearing into the bathroom the shower and change into fresh clothes. I quickly brushed my teeth before being Kole's shirt out. He was sitting on the bed with his phone in his hand scrolling through it "does my dad usually call you twice in half an hour?"
Kole shrugged "sometimes, why?"
I threw my dirty clothes back into my bag handing Kole his shirt to slip on "dad usually hates using his phone, at least that's what he usually tells me."
Kole slipped the shirt up his arms and then he put on his shoes and socks "it depends on what kind of a day he is having and when we are going to catch-up. He hates depending on you for reassurance."
He got off the bed and began looking around the room, I laughed as I watched him look under the bed "what are you missing?"
He pinched the bridge of his nose "my tie. Last night to dinner I wore a black tie and I know it had it on last night when I came into the room, it was the first thing to leave my body."
I blushed at his words "I will find it later and return it to you. I need to tidy this place anyway. It's half past ten I figured I would head out for brunch soon if you would like to join me?"
Kole stood from the bed slowly walking over to me "thank you for the offer but I need to shower and then I need to duck out to quickly see my mum whilst I am here. Maybe we could catch dinner?"
I nodded disappointed that I had wanted him to except, it's not like we are in a relationship. Last night was purely a one night thing. I walked him to the door kissing his cheek quickly before he entered his own room. I closed the door as I re-entered the room. I held it together until I fell back onto the bed. We were having such a good time together and then we go and sleep together.
I pulled my phone out to see I had a missed call from my friend Sophie. I barely gave her a moment to pick up before I blurted it out "I slept with him, I slept with Kole."
