I talked with Sophie for an hour before we parted ways. She surprised me when she claimed she wasn't shocked. In school she would always joke about hot she found him so bang-able and how the two of us would make such a cute pair. I ignored her comments but instead secretly I had a small crush on him.

Kole's Point of View
I took the car Morgan had hired and drove it straight to my mums place. She lives in the upper side of New York. I parked in her underground space taking the elevator up to her dining room. She sat on a stool sipping at a cup of herbal tea. I wrapped my arms around her waist holding her tightly. She wrapped her arms around mine hugging back "hello, son."

I laughed "hello, mother. Sorry I'm late, I got caught up this morning."

Mum cocked her eyebrow reminding me where I got that very same look from "who is she?"

I automatically blushed playing dumb "I don't know what you talking about."

My mother removed herself from the stool standing in front of me. She pulled my collar to the side revealing the marks Morgan left. "Why do you even try to lie to me."

I walked to the other side of the counter pouring myself a cup of coffee "Morgan."

I could feel her harsh glare as I refused to meet her eyes "we have talked about this Kolter Williams. She is out of bounds the moment you told me nearly ten years ago. She is Robert daughter. You grew up with him, you saw how protective he is over her."

I nodded "I know mum, you don't need to tell me all this. She invited me back to her room. She initiated the...I'm not talking to you about this."

Mum looked at me gobsmacked "you slept with her."

I blushed "please drop the subject, how about the fact you called me Kolter."

Mum rolled her eyes "I named you Kolter, I will use that name when I want."

I huffed as I sat in the stool "I'm going to legally change it one of these days."

Mum smiled over the rim of her mug "your lucky I have never met Morgan."

Morgan's point of View
I had a late lunch alone I'm the hotel room, I hadn't heard from Kole since he left. I packed the things I had made a mess of yesterday. I threw the covers back on the bed looking for the tie. Somehow it had made its way into the boot I had worn yesterday.

I pulled out my work laptop looking through the planner for the next month, I was pretty proud of my work. I am enjoying working for Kole, regardless of the fact that it came with obvious benefits. I slammed it close finally throwing on my boots and jacket I walked over to Kole's apartment with the tie in my hand. I knocked twice. I didn't think he was home so I began the walk away. I reached my door when he finally opened his "hey?"

I smiled apprehensively "hey, I found your tie."

He smiled taking the tie from my hands holding his hand in mine for a moment. I pulled away from him as if he had burnt me. His arm dropped by my side "have you heard from my dad today?"

Kole shook his head "should I have?"

I ran my fingers nervously through my hair "she has been acting really strange recently. If there was something going on you would tell me right?"

Kole grabbed my hand pulling me into his room. He lead me to his bed sitting down beside me "he is okay. He is getting serious with Charlotte. He wants to take it to the next step but he wants to talk to you about it first. He can't do that at the moment because he is still ignoring you."

I grimaced "I hate adulting."

Kole wrapped his strong arm around my shoulder pulling me against his chest "it does get better."

I looked up at him under my lashes, his eyes were flicking down to my lips. Slowly I lifted my chin bringing our lips together. The kiss was slow, nothing like the ones we shared last night. He groaned "I promised I will stay away from you."

I laughed "who did you promise that to?"

He ran his nose down the length of my neck "myself. You have barely lived your life and I hate to pressure you into something you aren't entirely ready for."

I cupped his face running  my thumb over his high cheek bone "you would be pressuring me into anything. I hate when you paint me as someone who isn't able to defend myself. Although under the influence I didn't hate the idea that we slept together nor do I find you repulsive."

He snorted "the amount of times you have felt me up says otherwise."

I roughly brought our lips together "you are slightly self-conscious about how much older you are than me. If anything I could use your age to my benefit."

He didn't bother relying instead flipping me onto my back. He used one hand to prop this body up whilst the other hand held my hips against his. His nose stroke mine teasingly. "I'm not self-conscious, I don't want to age to be come an issue with us or with my friendship with your dad."

I pushed against his chest "way to ruin the mood bringing up my father and we were flirting."

He parted my thighs with his "were we flirting? I don't remember flirting with you!"

I rolled my eyes "you were so flirting. Let's pick this up later, right now do we have anything we need to do for tomorrow?"

Kole huffed getting off me "no we are good to go. Our numbers are good and I don't want to come off as too prepared."
