"What do you mean?" I'm still shocked and now also worried how Logan knows about what happened to Gemma. "I know the reason why you need the old business associate, I know what he did to Gemma" I nervously start chewing my inner cheek. I don't know if he's being serious and if he is then I have no idea how he knows what happened to her because I sure as hell didn't say anything to him or anyone else because I kept my word to Gemma that I wouldn't tell anyone. 

"I'm so confused, how do you know what has happened?" I frown whilst just staring at Logan, my head is all over the place now. "I had my ways, doesn't matter -" I cut him off, "Logan, it does fucking matter! No one else knows other than like 3 people and none of them is club members or you. I promised Gemma that I wouldn't tell anyone and if she finds out you know, she is going to kill me" we just stare blankly at each other before anything else is said. 

"Charlie, I'm not going to be telling anyone what happened and you have my word but if you can't trust me then that's on you!" I scoff slightly before running my hands through my hair. "I'm pissed that you went behind my back to find out what happened. I swear to god if you say a word to anyone then you can think again about that stupid plan we agreed on" I watch him as he laughs slightly. "As I said, I'm not going to say anything to anyone until Gemma has said anything to anyone else other than you" He throws his hands up to surrender, I nod slowly, putting all my trust in him to make sure he doesn't say anything because it blows back onto me more than anything. 

"So do you have his address?" He nods pulling a piece of paper out of his back pocket of his jeans. "You need to promise me that you aren't going to do anything that's going to put you and that baby in harm's way" I sigh and look up at him after reading the address on the piece of paper that he handed me. "I'm not promising anything because I want to make sure this asshole pays for what he has done to Gemma but I can promise I will do everything I can to protect this baby" Logan didn't seem happy with that as he scoffs before running a hand over his face. 

"Charlie, I don't know what you have been doing in these last few days you've been quiet but you along with that baby are important and you've got to look after yourself too otherwise that baby doesn't stand a chance without you" I become slightly distracted as my phone buzzes in my pocket. I retrieve the phone from my pocket, reading the text I just got. Gemma needed me now, couldn't have picked a better timing though she doesn't know anything. 

"Logan, I would rather risk my life for this baby. If it came to something happens to me when it's born then I want you to choose the baby over me" Logan's expression slowly changes to sadness, he walks over to me, embracing me in a hug. "Charls don't say that nothing will happen to you or the baby. I will make sure nothing happens, let me deal with this guy for you and Gemma" He gives me a small smile before placing a kiss on my forehead.

This is the first time I've shown my face in like 4 days. Gemma was holding a family dinner at her house and wanted to come along and I knew that I couldn't say no to her even if I wanted to because she would drag me out the house to come. I knock on the door, tightly clinging onto the flowers in my hand. Clay answers the door with a smile, "Hey Charlie, it's good to see you. Come in, Gemma is the kitchen" I smile before stepping inside and hugging him. "It's good to see you too" We exchanges smiles before the hug is broken and I head into the next room. When I enter the room, everyone looks over at me as I catch Gemma's eye before she greets me with a smile and walks over to greet me. 

"Wow, I haven't seen your face in ages. Everything okay?" I laugh slightly before answering, "Yeah everything has been fine, just needed some space and time away from everything" She raises an eyebrow slightly before nodding. "Okay, I heard what happened with you and the Doctor. Jax finally told her then?" I smile awkwardly, of course, Gemma would know what happened because that's Gemma for you. Nothing gets by her. "Yeah it wasn't pretty but he did finally told her about the baby. Though now they aren't together, he doesn't know where his head is at with me and him" I sigh slightly before lifting the flowers.
