Pretending

It wasn't too hard pretending to be Shinsou. He, however, was having more trouble being me.

"How can you stand wearing this thing? It's so uncomfortable!" Shinsou was complaining about the binder. He had made sure no one was around before he said anything.

"Dysphoria." That was my only answer. We stopped talking about it as we got close to the cafeteria. We sat down with Bakugo, Kirishima, Mina, and Sero. Bakugo looked at Shinsou and pointed to me.

"Who's this extra?" He wasn't in the best mood, as usual. I saw a flash of disgust on Shinsou's face, quickly replaced by a smile. He clearly didn't like being called an extra.

"This is my new friend, Hitoshi Shinsou! We met at an arcade a few days ago!" Shinsou was trying his best to sound energetic. Bakugo looked back and forth between the two of us, eyeing us suspiciously. I wonder if he knew something. He stayed silent. Everyone else greeted me excitedly.

"I saw you two go into Aizawa's room this morning. Why?" Asked Bakugo towards the end of lunch. I tried to think of an excuse but Shinsou beat me to it.

"Da-" He shook his head. "Aizawa told Shinsou he needed to talk to us." The mishap at the beginning tipped Bakugo off. I could see it in his eyes.

"Alright." Was all he said as the bell rang. We hurried out of the cafeteria but someone grabbed us by the shoulders and pulled us to the side. We spun around to face Bakugo. He looked at Shinsou. "You're not Kaminari. You're Shinsou aren't you? I saw the face you made at me. Not to mention, you almost called Aizawa dad. He mentioned having a son at one point." Shinsou looked tired.

"It was that easy for you to figure out?" I asked. I was scared one of the others would find out. The fear must have been written all over my face because Bakugo turned to me.

"The others aren't going to know. They're almost as stupid as you, Dunce Face." He said. I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. "Now we need to get to class before Aizawa gets fucking pissed." We all walked to the room together.
