Mimi had urged the boys to play in the porch since she was getting annoyed with the thumping of their feet to the beat.

"It's much better in acoustic though." I heard Paul remark before she closed the door. Mimi glanced at me and smiled before going into a room. Her smile was almost unnoticeable.

She came back with a towel, a brush scrub and fresh new clothes along with a pair of saddle shoes. "Now, I suppose you've been wanting to clean yourself up." She assumed as she gave the items she was holding.

"But I-I don't have any more... Ehm, undergarments." I said.

Mimi looked away to think of a solution. Until it looked like she remembered something. She went to her room once again, and came back with a set of undergarments.

I took as she handed it to me and looked at it. Are these...

"For the record, I don't use these kind of undergarments. My sister, Julia used to give these things to me." She stated as if she read my mind, "I never knew why." She mumbled. I was relieved. I thought I was going to have to wear the same thing she wears.

"T-Thank you for your generosity." I said as I stood up and leave to clean myself up.

I put on the dress Mimi lend to me and I must say, it was much more comfortable than the dresses from my time. I couldn't really tell if a dress in my decade was even a dress. Most of them looked like they lacked of fabric when they made it.

But this one.. Oh, how I wish I could take this dress home with me. It was a pastel green eyelet dress. I didn't even know Mimi owned these kind of dresses. I usually see her wrapped in cardigans.

After I admired the dress I was wearing for what it felt like forever, I dried my hair with the hair dryer that was by the sink. I hope Mimi won't mind. I tied my hair into a ponytail with my hair tie when I was done.

I put on the saddle shoes as I got out of the bathroom. When I got down, I saw Paul and John back inside, eating some snacks in the living room, listening to Eddie Bond on the radio. "Oh, well, look who came here to join us." John exclaimed as he saw me.

I caught a glimpse of Paul's eyes sparkling in the corner of my eye as he was looking at me. I didn't notice I was still standing until John snapped me out of my daze, "Well, come on, mate. Don't be shy. Sit down." John gestured as he scooted over to provide a spot for me.

And it just had to be beside Paul.

Something tells me John was onto something.

"W-Where's Mimi?" I asked as I slowly and awkwardly sat down on the space John provided.

"She has an errand to run." I nodded in understanding. Come to think of it, maybe they can help me.
