Today was my 22ND birthday and me and the crew was hitting up the Essence festival in New Orleans tonight.But until then we were gonna do some exploration and sight seeing in New Orleans.A big ole parade festival was coming up down the street , and you know already we had to watch it, ya know New Orleans is know for their jazzy funky upbeat music , and beautiful festivities.We headed down the street to watch the parade.Marching bands and majorette dancers was coming down the street.I had my phone out to record.We was dancing and cheering them on. "Oooh they getting it" ! "Ain't they tho" ! Sophie said "Okayyyyyy" Angel said "This is New Orleans people" ! Princess said "I'm love with the colors" Caroline said "Ooh yesssss" Victoria said Me and my girls was twerking.The boys was just cheering and dancing. "Ayeeeee get it bitch ! Get it Li booty bitch"! Princess yells I was really getting it then.I was twerking while I stuck out my tongue.You already know when the tongue come out , you tearing it down.All you heard was loud ass trumpets , saxophones , trombones Nd and those loud ass drums.People was passing out drinks , you know we took some , they told me and my girls it was free for us cus we pretty.We stuck out our tongues and said PERIODT! We had to give Princess a honey lemon iced tea , cuz you already know.Man it was so live and packed out here , so many beautiful black people filled the area , all shades too , darkskin , brown skin and light skin.Our people is so beautiful.I swear.N this is why it's called Essence.Cuz we so gorgeous. "Y'all lets go join the parade" ! Princess said as she grabbed me "Omg Princess"! I said giggling Me and my girls ran into the parade in front of the majorette dancers , the boys stayed back cracking up and cheering us on.We was twerking and waving at everybody.The dancers was laughing and getting crazy with us , they knew who we were too , the crowd did too , everybody was cheering us on and dancing.It was crazy.But you know crazy is our middle names and we don't be giving a danm. So that night finally came and it was time for the essence festival.We changed into some more outfits.Me and my bitches was slaying! (Me)
