The meeting

Annie's POV

I don't know exactly what Ryan's mom have up her sleeve, she intentionally brought me here and even stalled the diner and here I am sleeping over at her place, the Room Ryan showed me as my room seems pretty big and I must say beautiful, it's two times my room. Was about laying down to sleep when I remembered I hadn't showered and with that I went into the bathroom, after showering I stepped out of the bathroom only to see Ryan on his way out... what's he looking for here anyways?

"I just came to drop this" he muttered knowing what was on my mind and left, I checked what he came to brought and it was his shirt, he's so thoughtful, I wore the dress he came to drop and then lay down to sleep, his shirt smells so good

Next morning*

the soft knock on my door woke me up, I can't believe I'm still in bed at this time, I opened the door and met Ryan all dressed standing right at the door

"good morning" I greeted lazily hoping he didn't see how scattered my hair is, he doesn't seem to care

"morning" he replied "mom wants us to go meet the wedding planner, so go change into this I'll be waiting in the car" he said and left

so I am not going home this morning again? who knows whether I'll in the afternoon... just when will I get to study for my exam? This whole wedding thing is overwhelming.... Seriously overwhelming. I had my bath and then changed into the dress Ryan brought it was a crop top and a blue jean, I took one last glance at myself in the mirror before heading out

"morning ma "I greeted Ryan's mom who was sitting on the couch sipping from a cup that seems to be filled with tea

"morning" she replied "I hope you slept well "she asked and I nodded in reply

"Ryan's going to take you out to eat, you can just count me it as a date and afterwards you two will meet with you wedding planner" she said and then grinned

"Ryan's waiting at the garage" she finally added

I went straight to the garage and I met Ryan seated in the car without the driver, he probably doesn't want the last incident to repeat itself and I'm yet to apologize for slapping him, come to think of it, he didn't really react about the slap.... I joined him in the car and he started to drive afterwards, the drive was so silent, awkward and boring, Ryan isn't talking, this is the perfect time to apologize but just how will I do that?

Ryan! I called

"are you uncomfortable?" he asked not looking at me

"no, I'm not, I'm sorry " I finally dropped

"sorry?" he repeated

"yeah, I slapped you yesterday, I was shocked and didn't know what to do, I didn't want my first kiss to happen like that" I continued

"and I'm also sorry for taking advantage of you, I didn't know what came over me" he said and I felt my heart skip

"you said it was your first?" he asked

"Yeah" I replied and he grinned

"you mean you've never had a boyfriend?" he asked and he sounded somewhat excited

"yeah" I replied and he didn't say anything again, we arrived at the restaurant and as usual I ordered for cappuccino while he ordered for salad, how weird

"are you not eating?" he asked and then our orders were brought

"I don't eat breakfast" I replied

"you don't eat breakfast?" he repeated

"yeah, I don't" I answered, he soon finished his meal and we left to meet the wedding planner, the meeting was so boring, arrangements were made for the hall, the food and every other thing..."thanks so much, we really appreciate" Ryan greeted

"you're welcome, you two look great together" she commented and then went back in, just why is everyone saying this? We look good together? Ryan dropped me off at home and left after saying hello to mom......

Ryan's POV

Today's so tiresome, the wedding planner kept on ranting and ranting about me and Annie being compatible, I seriously can't help but be drawn towards her, and I think I'm starting to like her, look how pretty she was in the morning without even bathing, she'll make a lovely wife. I drove into the compound and then gave the key to the driver to get the car packed, I entered into the house and I met mom discussing with some stranger, probably one of her friends

"hey Mom" I greeted taking the stairs

"hi!! Ryan" she replied and continued on with her discussion

I fell on the bed immediately after I got in and I slept off not long after

Rachael's POV

yesterday's s*x was so hot that I thought I'll die, that reminds me, I think Ryan left a note for me, but what could he have written there

my phone began to ring and when I checked it, it was the informant

"evening ma" he greeted "concerning the assignment you gave me; have found something I think you should know about" he continued

"okay, tell me about it"

"well he's been moving around with a lady and all their movement seems to be encircled around his boutique" he said

"you mean you've been seeing him with a lady?" I asked

"yes ma, and it seems they are really close" he added

"okay look more into it and let me Know who she is"

"alright ma, I'll" he said and cut the call, so Ryan has been moving around with a lady? well, maybe she's his cousin, I'll just wait for my informants to give me more info about her
