boys will be bugs- cavetown*Will's POV*
12PM
Will was still by the creek. He just sat there, listening to the water running and birds chirping. He saw a deer family walking by the other side of the creek. He had never been so close to deer before.
There was a doe (the mother,) and two fawns. The doe stopped for a moment, noticing Will. The creature then looked forward again after deciding that Byers wasn't a threat and walked away with her offspring. Will had written a total of 3 pages in his journal, one page filled with doodles of animals he saw in the forest and the other two pages were complicated thoughts and questions that he knew deep down that he didn't want to know the answers to.
My special person is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
He's just unbelievably perfect. His thick black hair that flows oh so gracefully in the wind. His chocolate brown eyes that light up from excitement. The little brown freckles that cover his cheeks and nose. The little cute twitches he has when he tries to explain something complicated. The way he engulfs me into a hug. His warmth.
Everything about this boy is beautiful.
He wrote in his journal, which was a hardcover black book with a sticker on the front that read:
Belonging of William Byers.
His therapist gave it to him, saying it would be best to write down his thoughts because he didn't want to talk about his problems. Will didn't talk about his problems, claiming he was "fine" but in reality he didn't want his friends and family worrying about him. He wasn't fine, he had been struggling in silence for a very, very long time now.
Fighting his own demons in his mind, but no one seemed to notice. He was good at hiding his emotions.
***************************************
Will noticed a small caterpillar crawling on his shoe. He put his finger down infront of it, inviting the tiny creature to crawl up on his hand. The caterpillar did so. Will took his hand up to his face, examining the odd bug that was now crawling on his hand.
The caterpillar was limegreen with black stripes and red dots. Will moved the caterpillar over to his right hand, studying it more. He then opened his journal and started drawing it, The caterpillar crawling on his right hand's pointer finger while he sketched it with his left.
The things he would do to be a tiny caterpillar crawling on some weird stranger's hand...
5 minutes passed by and he completed the sketch of the caterpillar.
I should be heading home.
He stood up, laying the caterpillar gently down on the grass.
"Goodbye friend, thank you for your company,"
It was getting hot out so he took off his raincoat and tied it tightly around his waist while walking towards the big willow tree. He picked up his bike and walked with it for a bit, heading to the small path that went straight to the main road in the forest.
