Happy little accident (Book 1)

Crying, happiness, and family reunions.

James POV:

I couldn't believe it- my son and his team just beat the best team in Atlas academy. He looked up at me with what I could only guess was a nervous smile from that far away, I smiled and cheered and clapped like everyone else. He smiled more when I clapped for him, Glynda smiles a bit, tears still streamed down her face for the wrong reasons, but we could always tell him those were just happy tears for his sake.

"So do you want to meet him?"

I could tell she was just trying to get out of our discussion. I looked down at her and she frowned a bit

"Right.."

I held out my hand for her and she looked at it for a moment as if wondering if she deserved it but ended up taking my hand, I picked her up bridal style causing her to blush and laugh

"James!"

She giggled and started to smile as her tears disappeared. I smiled, it was the first time she had smiled when I was around for years. I noticed her blushing and I blushed a bit myself.

Glynda's POV:

He picked me up and I felt like I was falling in love again.

Fuck fuck I was blushing.. but I couldn't stop and I couldn't stop smiling or laughing. I looked at Jack and he looked extremely happy. He hadn't seen me happy in awhile. And I truly felt happy again.

Jack's POV:

I smiled at my mom. She had always talked about how she never really got over dad and they were having fun or- bonding. I don't know but mom was smiling and blushing and dad was holding her. I then looked at my team and the rest of the crowd,

James POV:

"Sorry!"

I giggled too and I was about to put Glynda down but she put her arms around my neck and clung onto me as if to say 'please don't-' as she looked up at me, still laughing blushing and smiling, her tears almost completely gone now. I carried her to the large dome exit, stopping halfway through so Jack knew we weren't leaving. I looked at her again and smiled

"So.. your happy right now-"

I teased and she smiled

"Shut up-"

She giggled as I put her down.

"Ok.. all jokes aside. Why did you leave me and then not tell me I was a father? For 17 years..."

I tried to not sound angry, I didn't want to ruin Glynda's mood.

"I-"

She looked down, still blushing but not laughing or smiling anymore

"I was madly in love with you and... I thought that you would... leave me if I told you I was pregnant.. that's why Ozpin would let you see me. I was.. pregnant with Jack."

I was a bit hurt she thought I'd leave her like that.

"Why would I leave you when you were having my child?"

Glynda's POV:

I started to tear up again

"I-I-I-I don't know! I just- I-I panicked and-"

I started to cry silently again and nervously played with my riding crop.

"I really loved you. And I didn't want to lose you but I was dumb so I broke up with you. When I said we should focus on our work... I haven't been able to focus on anything but you for the past 17 years.."

Jack's POV:

They weren't smiling anymore. Mom was crying again. I really wanted to meet dad but it he was treating mom wrong I wasn't gonna deal with him. We were taking out of the huge arena for the next round, but instead of heading to my seat which was near my mom and Ozpin, I decided to go to my mom and dad to stand up for mom. But when I got to them she wasn't crying anymore. I hid behind the door, poking my head out and spying on them,

"I'm so sorry I was dumb-"

Mom looked down and dad lifted her chin with his thumb

"Glynda... your the kindest, funniest and smartest women I know. You've never been dumb. You thought i would do something and took action."

She smiles a bit and wiped her tears away and kissed his cheek, causing him to turn completely red

"Thanks, James... I'll go get Jack so you can.."

I was already standing in front of them again, I waved at James

"Nice to meet you.. dad!"
