Glynda sat in a lawn chair, in Qrow's backyard, holding a small thin binder, labeled,

'James's letters'

When he was in Atlas, they sent letters to each other, but after what he did, she was ready to get rid of them, she had started a big fire, there was no going back now..

She picked up the first letter he ever wrote her, rereading it slowly before taking a deep breath and crumbling it, throwing it in the fire.

"One down.. a lot to go."

She sighed and crumbled three more, throwing them in the fire. Sam saw it from the window and sighed. She didn't know if this was all worth it, she knew if this worked she'd get the 1k, but her brother would be upset. Really. Sad.

"What's wrong Sam?"

Qrow asked walking in, she jumped and almost punched him, he dodged

"Your predictable."

Qrow chuckled and Sam sighed

"Moms just burning all of James letters."

Sam said, her hand on her chin as she leaned on the window and continued to watch Glynda, who had given up and just ripped out all the papers, throwing them all in, hiding her face in her hands and screaming into them like a pillow. Qrow went into his bird form, flying out to Glynda, landing on her shoulder. She lifted her head and lifter her pointer finger, scratching the birds back with it.

"Hey Qrow.."

She said weakly and smiled a bit. He cawed in response, she giggled a bit

"You know I don't understand you.. I'm not a bird like you."

He went back to his human form, he was now behind Glynda, with his arms leaning on her shoulder.

"I said I'm proud. Your moving on."

Qrow said and smiled, Glynda played with his already messy hair and smiled

"I guess I am moving on.."

Sam ran out to them either her scroll loosely shaking in her hand, Jack was on call with her.

"Mooooooom! Jack said James is there and wants to talk to you!"

"Tell him I'm busy."

"He heard you say that I'm on speaker-"

Glynda froze a bit when she heard James say,

"Glynda, come home we need to talk."
