"We're almost there!" Ace cried excitedly. "Great!" You huffed sarcastically as you trudge through the snow. Your face flustered from the cold nipping at your face. "Can someone please tell me why the hell I agreed to go on a hike?" You groaned. Sabo looks over his shoulder, "because you believed if it's cold it would be easier when in actuality it's double the work." You glare at the blonde and lean against a tree to catch your breath. "Ya know, I recommended we walk ahead and melt the ice to leave an easy trail, but-"

"No! We're doing this the old fashioned way." You declared. "-you're stubborn as always." He mumbled under his breath. "Hey, check it out!" Ace hollered again. "You can see the landscape from here." The raven-haired had gone ahead unable to contain his excitement. The minute you suggested a hike, his eyes lit up. During the hike, however, his adrenaline kicked in thinking ahead of what the view of their destination would appear. "Come on honey it's just up the hill!" You huff and puff trying to catch your breath, taking one step at a time. "Whoa, so cool!" Sabo beamed, squatting as he admires the scene. Their noise of amazement encourages you to push forth to the top. Lo and behold the boys were right. As if the hike was not enough to take your breath away, the scenery will. Your hues marvel over the horizon. A full view of pine trees, wide mountains covered in snow, complemented by gray skies setting the picture with it's snowfall. "It's beautiful." You said. "This is way better than Google images. I could stare at this forever. " Ace pulls your waist into a side hug. "Well, take as long as you want. There's no rush."

"Even longer in a photo." Sabo looked around in search for a perfect spot. He smirked locking onto a sturdy tree. "Oi, Ace! Remember that one time we hid in the woods when tailgated?" The freckled man smirked as if telepathically understanding his gist. Hiding on top of the many trees saved the boys plenty of times. "Yeah, I remember. Let us see if I can hoist you." He squats down beside the tree, hands held with open palms as Sabo dashed onto them for a boost and grasping the highest branch; from there, he swung above now jumping from branch to branch to get to the top. "There, now I can take a picture." The blonde smiled content. You gawk in wide wonder. "What the fuck are you, a monkey?"

"I just wanted to snap a picture from above." He chuckled. "Sabo and I used to have a treehouse. Thanks to it climbing trees have been our specialty. "Done!" Sabo descends safely. "I snapped and recorded as much as I could." You swipe through the album ending the slide on a selfie of him smiling with mountains in the background. "These are excellent. Great graphics too. We should take a group shot so everyone back home can see."

"Sure thing." Your blonde husband steps back starting with you and Ace as the first shot. "Say cheese." Smiles in each photo, switching husbands and shifting positions with different poses. As fun as it was to stand under the snow, your sneezing alarmed your husbands thus ending the hike for another time.

Climbing back down was no easy feat, but definitely easier than the first travel. Dusk followed when arriving at your cabin. Sabo and Ace had turned on the fireplace and prepared the couch for warm cuddles while you poured some liquor and placed take-out on the table.

The movie played in the background while you tagged and captioned the portfolio of photos for everyone to see. The title being:

 Honeymoon

After the wedding, it was straight home. You hadn't planned ahead in life when it came to your own wedding except for marriage then after the party, it's home. Your honeymoon wasn't a necessity, in your opinion. The boys questioned you non-stop, making sure if you were positive. You honestly didn't like the cliche of going to Hawaii or a beach resort dressed in white and walking on the beach to be your honeymoon. You hated summer and sometimes being next to the sea was dangerous with stormy weather. Not to mention you have two Devil-fruit users who aren't exactly helpful to the situation. Part of you wanted to try, and it was apparent the boys did too. When you learned that the environment doesn't have to be fairytalesque, you decided to choose a place most comfortable to you. A winter wonderland up in the mountains. The decision was worth every penny as the past two weeks have been spent on a handful of activities lasting all day. Not a moment wasted, replaced with pure bliss whether it was learning to ski, eating at a restaurant, or spending quiet time alone at the cabin.

You sigh content against Sabo, drink in hand as Ace runs his hand over your thigh resting on his lap. Everything is an order. No more worries, no more chaos. The journey taken by the three of you has lead to now. A period of joy. "Finally married, a house of our own and no more nonsense. It's like the universe is at peace with us. This is everything I dreamed of having. Everything I ever wanted and it still feels surreal." You sniffled. The boys awe rubbing soothing circles. "Thanks for loving us, (Y/n)." Ace cooed. "Our wife." Sabo kisses your nose and scalp as Ace tends to your lips and cheek. "Sweet and strong." You giggle, tickled by their smooches. "To call (Y/n) our wife is surreal too." Ace realized. "I like it. I never thought I would be married so soon if I'm being honest. It was never on my mind, but if it were to happen it would be in my thirties." Sabo chortled.

The adorable time is ruined by the ringing of the cabin line's phone. Sabo slithers away to which you pout. The line informs of a caller. "Accept." Instantly the line connects to their home town greeted by Marco. "Yo Marco, what's up?" The blonde's smile fades, eyes widen, and face pales. He sits onto a stool. "I-I...this isn't real. Please tell me it's a joke....how long has he been hiding it?" The grim tone peeks both yours and Ace's attention. "What?" Sabo grits his teeth in anguish as he attempts to restrain himself. "I'll uh...let them know. We'll leave as soon as possible...no, no this is an emergency. She'll be fine with it. See ya then." He hangs up, drops his head on the table, shaking as he tries hard to breathe. The new disoriented his train of thought. The tears stinging his eyes.

"Sabo? What's wrong?" You shuffle over and assess the situation. Ace on the other side worried. "What the hell happened?" No reply. Ace growled impatiently pulling Sabo back for an answer. He wasn't the type to force anyone, but when it came to family, it's a different story. "Hey!" Catching Sabo's expression pale and distraught was the last thing you wanted to see. "W-we have to go home." The blonde pulls away picking up the blankets and grabbing their bags.

"Why?" Ace asked. You didn't want to push for the answer sensing it will be something both of you will regret.

"It's Pops. He's in the hospital."

(A/N): Hello everyone! Long time no see. If you read my status then you already know what is to come. This is a cliff hanger Epilogue setting up for book 2, but the rest of it will be on Fixation first if you want to find out what happens to Pops. If not that's ok. I will try to add some flashbacks. I'm back again and will be consistent in writing. Thank you for your patience.
