"We need to talk." You started. "I know you're on a schedule and have to go, but I really can't hold it in any longer." Your solemn expression perturbed the boys over an invitation. The matter of your parents has always been a sensitive one. You refused to leak any information keeping it tightly secured, that is until now. All eyes and ears rest on you. "Do you remember when I mentioned to you guys that if you ever asked about my parents I will answer? Well, now I'm willing to come clean and answer all of your questions. There is no denying the fact that I can hide you forever from them." Hide? Brows knit perplexed.

"Why would you feel the need to hide us from your family? I mean it's not like they're hideous monsters or embarrassing, right?" Sabo asked. You snort, imagining your folks as monsters or anything seen on television.

"I wish. It would be much easier than what has me skeptical."

"So then why all the secrecy? What's going on?" Ace quizzed.

"How do I put this?" Thumbs twiddle on the table contemplating. You take a deep breath, easing your anxiety. "My parents are old school and just like you, they worked to their asses off to get to the top and give their children the best life. However, existing in the first place is as hard as it is. I..." You bite your lip staring at your hands trying to keep them from shaking. " I have always been the black sheep in my family because I would go against tradition. What they never accounted for living in this country is becoming part of society's way of life. I guess I embedded on it so much I thought that's how I was supposed to be rather than what they wanted me to grow up as in their eyes. Because of my choices in life, I am ashamed of who I am sometimes. I've always been verbally abused, but that's just how it is in my family. We're like a pack of wolves. The weakest ones get pushed, but it doesn't work that way with some. Being herd and told it's okay is what we want. We get it every day in life. Why should home be the same? It's like we're tools to save their skin. At least that's how I always saw it. After meeting you guys and your wonderful family, I realized we have our own way of showing love, I just wish mine would give me a chance rather than seeing me as a child constantly making mistakes." Ace holds your hand, disheartened by your story.

"Babe..." He whispered. He wanted to say something, but couldn't for the life of him figure out what. His gentle rubs by his thumb calm you.

"We're sorry your parents are...difficult. I know how that feels like on some levels. You just can't convince them to change can you?" Sabo Guessed. You admit with a nod.

"I know this is probably aggravating now that you know how I feel, but I do want you guys to meet them. I love them dearly though they're not perfect. Perhaps you can change their minds? Under the condition that one of you will be allowed to be my boyfriend." Your voice lowers to a squeak pitch feeling bad to force one of them to be your boyfriend.

"What?" They croaked.

"You can't be serious?" Sabo gaped.

"How can we persuade your parents if one of us can be allowed to be your boyfriend?" Ace argued.

"I understand it's a ridiculous request, but it won't be forever. These are my terms. If you want to meet them, then you'll have to abide by my rules. One boyfriend and be on your best behavior." You quarreled.

"You haven't even told them you're dating two guys have you?" Ace accused. You look away biting your lip out of guilt.

"No, I haven't even told them I'm engaged." You confessed. The brothers throw themselves back in their seats with a groan of disappointment. Ace stood on his feet to pace on over the decision. One, two minutes maybe four passes coming to a conclusion. The look on your face was guilt tripping enough.
