Chapter 20

When we arrived at her house, I was shocked. It was huge, had a giant pool and everything seemed to expensive! Her house was a freaking villa!

-Th-this is your house?

I said while staring at it with shock

-Yes

She said and nodded

-And you live here every day

-Yeah hehe

Before we go in, we transformed back to our normal clothes so her parents won't see that we are superheroes. Then we walked in and she introduced me to her parents and then headed to the living room. As we were walking around the house I just couldn't stop staring at every corner of the house, it was all so majestic.

-Dude, how rich can you be to have a house like that

I said as we sat down

-Believe me, the only good thing about it is the looks, everything else is a pain.

-Huh, why though?

-Even for me, as the daughter of a rich family I always get told to "act more like it" so it gets really annoying sometimes. That's why when I'm fighting I feel more free, I don't have the pressure to "look rich" or something

-Oh I see...so your parents don't know you're a hero, right?

-Right.

And so, we kept talking, played games etc.

// Meanwhile, as the monster that Artemis shot down was going deeper and deeper into the sea, a mysterious creature that was living underwater caught it on its arms. "So they got them all..." it said and swam back. //

Later, we went out to see how the situation was going with the things that got ruined, it seemed to be going well, people such as police, firefighters and all, were there helping in every way they could. Other people were helping as well, people that could just stay home if they wanted. As we continued walking down towards the harbor again, a hand made from water grabbed Alexandra into the sea. It was so unexpected. "ALEXANDRA!" I screamed and dived in without a second thought. "There it is!" I think as I see a creature holding Alexandra while it swims deeper. Since I couldn't talk cause I was underwater, I couldn't ask for a power, so I had to rely on me holding my breath. Thankfully I can hold it for a long time.

The creature then stops swimming deeper, so I get a better look on it. It looked like a shark-mermaid. What is that and did creatures like that always existed on earth in the first place?

Then the shark-mermaid thing takes a look at Alexandra.

-Shit! I got the wrong one!

She said.

Then Alexandra took the opportunity and kicked her on her face and used the power she had chose to always have, to teleport. She teleported and because of her power's disadvantage she teleported into a small shop and started running out of it to get back to the harbor to find me. As she was running she asked Angela and Lucy for help.

-Angela! Lucy! Can you hear me?!

-Yes! What's happening?

-Things are bad, some weird sea creature grabbed me in and I managed to escape with my teleportation! I think I saw Artemis diving in too!

-Oh crap, we're gonna transform you right now!

-Transform Artemis too! And please give to both of us the power to breathe underwater!

-Got it!

Then they transformed us.

Artemis was surprised inside the sea getting transformed but she didn't pay much attention to that.

Then Alexandra dived back in again and found me.

-Artemis!

She said cause with the power she could speak underwater. I only looked at her with a confused look on my face.

-Artemis, I talked with Angela and Lucy, I asked them to transform you and I also asked to give to both of us a power to breathe underwater, you can talk now!

I let out a big sigh after holding my breath for too long.

"You!..." we hear from a distance.

-YOU COME WITH ME!

The shark-mermaid appeared again and tried to catch me.

-Oh, so you're resisting? Don't worry, I am not alone...

-What do you mean?

Alexandra says in hesitation

-I have the whole ocean to obey me!

She said and raised her hands and head up, showing off. Then she lowered back her head

-Now...

She said and then tilted her head.

-I don't need you

She continued and pointed at Alexandra

-What! No!

I said and went in front of Alexandra.

-Oh? You're protecting her? Don't worry you won't need her anyway! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE WITH US AFTER ALL!

She said as she controlled a big amount of water and blasted it towards us. We fell back as the water's pressure was too big.

-I still can't believe I've finally found you! I'm gonna make history!

She said.

-Who the hell even are you? And what are you?

I said while coming back after that blast.

-It's not important information, but if YOU want to know then I'll gladly say so! I am Selacho! I think what I am is obvious.

-Alright then, Selacho. What is your goal? Why are you doing this?

-To get Glicia with me of course! I am gonna be everyone's savior this way!

-Glicia?..

-Alexandra said.

-Ever since I was little, no one ever thought I could be the one to save us because I must always be underwater to live...but look at me now! I have everything I needed in front of my eyes!

-What the hell are you talking about?!

Alexandra shouted.

-Ugh...you...you annoy me A LOT!

Selacho yelled and took out a trident she was keeping with her and hit Alexandra with it.

-I did not kill you only because she likes you!

She said.

I got very worried for Alexandra so I told Angela and Lucy to take her away.

-Please, take her out of this, I'm gonna deal with her on my own

I said to my mic.

-Who the hell were you talking to?

Selacho said as she pointed the trident at me

-...None of your buseness

I said.

-NOOO! THIS IS ALL MY BUSENESS!

She said madly and put her hands on her head.

Then I took out my gun and pointed it at her. Selacho started laughing and she said with a grin on her face

-What are you gonna do with this? Gun can't do shit underwater! Eheheh

I realized how stupid of a move that was, I totally forgot we're underwater and that my gun won't work in this situation. I had to think of a plan to defeat her.
