You watched the stars on the way back to Knowhere as you thought of a plan to deal with Galactus. You had a month so maybe you'll have Dormammu's power by then. Hopefully.
Warlock: What seems to be on your mind?
You looked over to Warlock who was sitting in a chair across from you.
Y/N: Just this Dormammu thing. What if he summons me when I'm fighting?
Warlock: Then we will fight harder.
You smiled.
Y/N: Thanks Warlock. Actually, we need to change that name.
Warlock nodded.
Warlock: It is the name the Grandmaster gave me. I do not know my name.
Doreen: Are we naming things?
You nodded. Doreen jumped into the empty space next to you excited.
Doreen: Adam. Adam Warlock.
You raised a brow.
Y/N: Why Adam?
Warlock: I like it.
Y/N: Yeah but why Adam?
Nadia: I think it fits.
Y/N: Ok but, why?
Rocket: We're here!
The ship landed and everyone got up. The Guardians walked into the lounge.
Warlock: My name is now Adam Warlock.
Gamora: Hmm. It fits.
Y/N: How?!
Peter: Come on. We need to go talk to Cosmo about payment.
Nadia: Didn't the Queen say she would pay us?
Peter: Yeah but Cosmo doesn't know that.
He stepped off the ship and you just sighed before following. You, Peter, Gamora, Nadia, Doreen, and Adam all headed towards Cosmo's office. You were really hoping that there wouldn't be any dead bodies. You knocked on the door and Alex answered. He elt you all in and Cosmo's tail began to wag.
Cosmo: Welcome back friends!
Peter: Yep. Finished the job now so...
Cosmo: The Queen has informed me of your payment!
Peter: Shit.
Cosmo looked to you.
Cosmo: She also informed be that you will be helping her deal with her colossal problem!
You nodded.
Y/N: I decided to fight against Galactus to protect the planet.
Cosmo: That's great! I'm sure you will tear him to pieces!
You flinched at his words. How was no one else disturbed by this?
Warlock: It is nice to finally meet you Cosmo. I am Adam.
Cosmo: That is a nice name! It fits you well!
Y/N: FUCKING HOW?!
Warlock: Thank you. Your name seems to fit you as well.
Cosmo: I like making friends!
You shook your head and caught a glimpse of some dry blood on the wall. Your turned away and pretended that you didn't notice it.
Nadia: So, since we did a good job, can I pet you?
Cosmo rolled over and Naida squealed as she rushed over to rub his stomach. Doreen even jumped in and enjoyed the belly rubs.
Peter: They're like kids.
Y/N: We are only 20. Nadia is older by a few months.
The girls let up and Cosmo rolled back over.
Cosmo: I like belly rubs!
Y/N: I'm sure you do. So now that everything is taken care of, we should get going.
Cosmo: I agree! The chemicals in the air can be harmful for the baby.
Y/N: Exactly so we what fucking baby?!
Everyone looked at Cosmo in shock.
Cosmo: Someone here is pregnant! I can smell it!
Peter: Wait, if it's not me or Adam...
Y/N: Me neither.
Peter: I didn't know if you could have kids cause you can do everything else apparently.
Y/N: I'm a dude.
Peter: Whatever. If none of us can have a kid, that means...
You all looked at the girls.
Doreen: I just started my period.
Gamora: Peter is sterile.
You all looked to Nadia. She was looking down nervously while she messed with her thumbs.
Naida: I'm late.
You felt your stomach drop a bit.
Doreen: By how long?
Nadia: 3 weeks.
Cosmo: Congratulations on the baby!
Y/N: You're...
Nadia: I was going to tell you later. When we were alone.
She shot a look to Cosmo who whined. You smiled a bit as you felt a bit light headed.
Y/N: You guys hear that? I'm going to be a da...
You then passed out.
Gamora: Hm. Congrats kid.
Nadia: Thanks.
Doreen: I'm going to be a mom!
