Chapter 15

V: K.C, take a seat

I sit down in the same chair I sat in whilst doing the test with Jungkook.

V: I'm going to inject you with a serum that simulates a part of the brain that processes fear

V: it Includes a hallucination, and then transmitters in the serum allow me to see what images are in your mind.

Y/n: you can see inside my mind?

V: mmh-mm, lay back

He holds my head with his hand and Injects the serum

Y/n: agh

V: you're gonna be facing your worst fears, K.C.
Most people have 10 - 15 really bad ones. You have to calm yourself, slow your breathing and heart rate, and finally, deal what's in front of you.

I wake up on the over side of the wall. With a thunder storm, I look around and suddenly I hear crows cawling, they're flying towards me. I try run but I trip. They start pecking at me. Next thing I know I'm tied up with fire all around me with the birds still attacking me. I start hoping and find myself next to a puddle "this isn't real" i tell myself before dunking my head under water.

I wake up gasping for air.

V: it's all right, it's all right

I try calming down a bit once I realize I'm awake.

V: you okay?

I nod in reply

V: how long do you think you were in there hallucinating K.C?

Y/n: twenty minutes?

V: three, four times faster than the average. I've never seen someone do it that well on the first time. How'd you get rid of the birds? The image wasn't clear.

Y/n: Um I just..went into the water

V: well next time it'll be a lot easier

Y/n: what do you mean next time? I have to do that again?

V: yeah, you have to practice several times before the final, but you're a natural. You have nothing worry about

Hwasa: my whole body was covered in these little insects. They were in my ears, my throat. I couldn't breathe.

Hyunjin: yeah I heard about this guy, like two years ago..... he had a heart attack in his chair and almost died

Y/n: what?

Hyunjin: yeah! So we've all got that to look forward to right?

We all laughed

Hwasa: you didn't seem to have a problem at all

Y/n: me? Oh no it was awful
