As I make my way back to the guys, things seem to pass by in slow motion. Fear has risen inside me, and my body starts to shake. When I finally open the front door to confront Jesse, worry is instantly painted on his face.

"Lexi, you're really pale. When's the last time you've eaten?"

Ignoring his question, I direct my gaze to Roy who has red swollen eyes. "Roy, I'm so sorry for accusing you of something you didn't do. Please forgive me! I know now it wasn't you." Roy starts to laugh.

"You women are all the same, reacting before you think! Now, how is Caitlin?"

Embarrassment washes over me. I shift my gaze to the floor. "Caitlin is coping, but she will be fine!" Jesse still hasn't taken his eyes off me, and has been studying me since I opened the door. As if he can't take it anymore, he responds in a worried tone.

"Why do you believe Roy now? What's convinced you of his innocence?"

Lifting my gaze to Jesse, tears form in my eyes, and my voice begins to stutter. Just as I'm about to speak Caitlin is by my side pulling on my arm.

"Hi, I'm sorry, but none of this concerns any of you. You should leave!"

Without waiting for a response, Caitlin shuts the door.

"I'm sorry, Lexi, but I'm not comfortable with anyone knowing about this. It's humiliating!"

I nod my head in understanding. "What about the police. We need to call them!"

"No, please, it will be all over the news. I don't want that."

At this time, Samantha and Kat have joined us. I stare at Caitlin in shock. "Caitlin, this isn't just about you. All of us are not safe. We need to get help!"

"I'm sorry you guys, but as of right now it is about me. I was the one who was raped, and I will not allow the world to know about it. You guys at least know to be careful. I didn't get a warning. Now, I'm not talking about this further. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, so I'm going to try and take a nap. You guys please don't tell anyone."

When Caitlin walks away, I turn to Kat and Samantha. "What do we do?" Samantha is biting on her nails looking worried, and Kat's in tears. Kat is the first to speak.

"I'm so scared! I don't want that to happen to us. I think we should call the police."

Samantha takes her fingernails from her mouth to speak.

"Hell no! You heard what Caitlin said. We have to respect what she wants. How would you feel if you were her? We need to look out for each other. Caitlin's right, at least we've been warned, and that is something to be thankful for."

Kat's tears fall heavier.

"But, Samantha, Caitlin was with Roy when this happened. This guy knocked him out cold. It doesn't matter how careful we are, he will get to us."

Samantha responds with  confidence.

"The police have nothing to go on. Caitlin doesn't remember her attacker, and the only evidence they will find are clues leading to Roy as the culprit. The police will be a waste of time. Trust me! Now, we need to put our heads together and think who this creep might be."

I stare at Samantha in shock. Without saying a word, I walk into the kitchen to get a glass of water. The world feels as if it's spinning, and all I can see is the image of that threatening rock in my mind.

Chugging the water, I try to force myself to think who this lunatic could be. My mind comes up blank. I can't think of anyone who would want to hurt me, let alone all of us.
