Within a few days of my second injection, my body had completely finished the mutation process. Ian informed me that no further injections would be needed, and that from here on out my training would be in combat and strategy.

They had me sign a document stating that I wouldn't  discuss the program with anyone, and that if I did, I would be put down immediately. It also stated that I belonged to the government. As if anyone could actually own me.

They inserted a chip in the center of my back. It's purpose is to give my location at all times, and to put me down if necessary. It is programmed to release a poison into my blood stream by the click of a button on a computer. They do this to prevent rebellion. My life is literally in their hands.

On the bright side, now that I am no longer a threat, they have relocated me out of the steel room to Kat's room as her room-mate. The minute I enter the room I see an even more stunning Kat. Her radiance shining bright.

Running to her, I allow my arms to wrap around her for a tight embrace. Kat and I both cry happy tears as we hold each other close. The connection feels so good! Almost too good, but I do my best to ignore it.

"I'm so glad you're here with me Lex. This has been the worst nightmare I could possibly imagine."

"I know, me too! But at least we have each other now."

I release Kat and both of us stare at each other as if we are strangers.

"Lex, you're eyes are a different color, and your skin and hair..."

My eyes had changed to a crystal teal blue. I could now see like a microscope. My skin is flawless, and my hair had grown twice it's length.

"It's all part of the transition, only I'm a little different."

"What do you mean?"

"For some reason the cells in my body duplicated the injection until every cell in my body mutated over."

"So are you even human?"

"That's a good question. I certainly don't feel human."

"Well, you definitely don't look it... you look almost immortal."

I think back to how my broken hand healed in a matter of seconds. I haven't even had time to experiment after the second mutation.

"Ya, in a way I feel immortal. Anyways, enough about me, are you doing ok?"

Kat breaks down in tears.

"This must be what Hell is like. I feel as if I've died over and over again. I don't know if I can do this much longer."

My heart breaks for her. I was lucky... I only had to experience two injections, but Kat has a long road ahead of her. Keeping my voice in a whisper, I reply....

"I promise I will come up with a plan to get us out of here. I don't know how I'm going to do it just yet, but I will find a way."

Kat looks up at me with a defeated expression on her face.

"Just don't get yourself killed trying."

That was the hard part. This chip in my back made it almost impossible for me, but Kat is still chip free. If anything I at least had to find a way to free her.

Kat pulls me into a hug again. The embrace feels so good, that it causes my core to stir. I feel my hands slide down her back feeling her curves. Swearing under my breath, I pull back.
