(Y/N)'s POV
(It's been a week since you revealed yourself)
I woke up later than normal but I couldn't open my eyes, It felt like they were glued shut. I started to panic when I heard Janus's voice "Open your eyes" and I did. Is he controlling me-!? My eyes darted to the darkest corner of my room, where I can see his shadow and striking yellow eye. "Sit up" and against my will I did. What was he going to make me do-! He started to ask me a question "Who ar-" when he was interrupted by a soft knock at my door. The half-man, half-snake hissed under his breath and teleported himself away.
Virgil's POV
Keeper was really late for breakfast, she was always downstairs by half eight at the latest, but it was coming close to ten o'clock. 'Maybe she didn't get much sleep last night' I tried to convince myself, but what if she wasn't okay, I would never forgive myself if she isn't and I could have done something.
As I stood outside her bedroom door I froze, what if she was asleep and I was going to wake her up, or what if she is awake and doesn't want any visitors. I took a deep breath and knocked on her door quietly "Keeper-? Are you okay-?" She didn't respond "Can I come in-?" She didn't answer my second question either, but this I heard rustling from inside her room, so I decided against my better nature to go inside.
As I entered Keeper turned her head towards me with a panicked expression on her face, she was breathing deeply and I watched as her eyes faded from a bright yellow to their normal (e/c) state.
(Y/N)'S POV
"Keeper-? Are you okay-?" I can hear someone talking, but they sound muffled, I can't tell who it is "Can I come in-?" I try to answer but I can't focus enough to form any words. As the door opened I turned to face my saviour, but it takes me a second to regain my focus,....it was Virgil-! "Oh my God Keeper, are you okay-!?" He asked whilst running towards me, I felt really light-headed but I didn't want to worry him more than I already was "I'm fine Virgil, don't worry h-" I cut myself of not wanting to tell him what had happened "Keeper, are you sure you are okay-? What did Deceit want anyway-?" he asked whilst pulling me into a hug "I don't know" I answered truthfully, but then something hit me; I pushed away from him slightly so I could see his face "How did you know Deceit was here-?" I asked. He looked at me, before looking at the ground "Y-y-your eyes" I was confused so I pushed on "What about my eyes-?" He looked back up at me "They were yellow". I was confused at first, but then I smiled at him making him give me a confused look "Why are smiling?" "Because now I know that if someone has yellow eyes, they are being controlled by Deceit" He smiled back at me and we decided to go downstairs for breakfast.
After writing this chapter I feel like I may have the reader and Virgil have something going on
