Fireball

Janus's POV

After I made my deal with Logan in order to get a fifth remote, I left the garden and headed to my own room to compare it to the others. After a couple of hours I heard someone knock at my door. As I opened the door I was greeted to three faces, one of confusion, one of worry and one of shock. "How can I help yo-" I trailed off when i noticed the oh so familiar remote lying in Virgil's hand. "Janus, w-we need your help"

I invited them into my room and asked how I could be of assistance. "Well, we have reason to believe that these so called 'remotes' are connected to (Y/N)" when I glanced at (Y/N) she still seemed to shocked, but also slightly startled "And what is this reason?" The two boys looked at one another "Virgil, you have come to me for help, you don't need to tell me what's going on"

"They effect me okay!" Three pairs of eyes shift to the once silent girl "They're my punishment" Virgil tried to ask what for but (Y/N) continued talking "I've been thinking about this ever since the Q+A video. When a side is created we have to go through a stage  where we agree to our powers and limitations and as a result we are given our assigned colour" All three of us nod our heads as a sign of understatement "Well I-" Virgil cut the girl off with a question I hadn't even considered "(Y/N), what is your assigned colour?" She looked down breaking eye contact with the anxious trait "I don't have one, when I entered the mindscape after refusing the necessary process, I saw those remotes, six of them, before they vanished in a flash of blinding light"

"Oh (Y/N)" Virgil went up to her and drowned her in a hug "You could have told us" she laughed quietly to herself "I don't really do the whole sharing thing, I'm 'a Keeper' remember?"

Virgil's POV

When she said that it hurt a bit, how much did she not tell us? When I pulled away from the hug, Janus and Logan were looking at all six remotes laid out on the desk. "So these remotes are controlling (Y/N)'s behaviour, and it's beginning to get worse" both (Y/N) and I moved closer to the desk to see all the remotes.

"(Y/N), you said that the remotes are coloured to you" she moved her head just enough to form a nod. She started pointing at the remotes and giving then a colour, with less energy at every remote. I looked at (Y/N), but it was like I was looking at her for the first time, all of her clothes were a pasty white and her eyes were completely blanked out; She wore white gloves and no expression on her face. She fixed her posture before eyeing us up one by one, then out of no where she fired a pearly white fireball directly at Janus, he went hurtling across the room before hitting the wall behind him.

Her eyes shifted back to Logan before she threw another fireball at him, which he luckily dodged. After her failed attempt at hitting Logan she sank out going to a unknown place. I looked at Logan before going to help the deceitful side get back up on his feet. We heard a crash from downstairs and we all shared a worried expression, I swiped the remotes up as Janus summoned his hook and Logan a fireball in a navy blue hue.

We ran downstairs to see (Y/N) hurtling fireballs in every direction, Patton hiding behind the sofa and the twins with weapons in hand and fireballs in the other.

This book is going to be over soon and after it is, I'm going to re-do the first few chapters and then start a new one since some of you seem interested, let me know if there is anything you want in particular for the new book (It will be Sanders Sides)
