Virgil's POV

We ran downstairs to see (Y/N) hurtling fireballs in every direction, Patton hiding behind the sofa and the twins with weapons in hand and fireballs in the other.

I locked eyes with Patton who looked more scared than I had ever seen him, he beckoned me over and I knelt down next to him. When I got closer to him, I noticed that his eyes were watering and he was on the virge of tears (Pun intended) "Everything's going to be okay Padre" he smiled weakly at me before looking down at the remotes in my hand "What are those Kiddo?" "They, um- they control her" At that moment I felt a twinge of disappointment, (Y/N) started attacking for something out of her control, so the first thing we did arm ourselves. We should be trying to help her not attack her; I gathered the remotes and started to stand up with Patton when we saw something that shouldn't even be possible-

Roman's POV

(Y/N) had rose up in all white with a blanked out expression and immediately started launching icy fireballs in every direction, Remus and I summoned our weapons and fireballs of our own as Patton dove behind the couch.

The others raced downstairs but it didn't matter, in the time she had been distracted I managed to throw a scarlett sphere straight at her. She turned around and caught it- SHE CAUGHT IT! It's impossible to catch or even touch a fireball that isn't your own! But she wasn't done, she looked down at the fireball and closed her eyes, focusing on it. When she opened them the ruby sphere had turned green and she threw it right back at me; I used my sword to deflect it at Remus who took the hit with no issues. It was then I noticed that Specs and the Banana-conda were stood half surrounding the girl with Padre and the Emo walking over with something in his hands. The joined the 'circle' making (Y/N) practically surrounded. Virgil held up whatever he was holding "I'm going to throw one of these at each of you" "It is imperative that you don't touch them until instructed too" Logan chimed in.

Janus looked concerned "What are you two planning?" Virgil looked at him "We're helping her J, I wouldn't do anything to hurt her" Janus didn't look convinced "I don't think-" "On the count of five I need you all to turn the remotes on to the maximum" We all nodded as a sign of understanding

Janus's POV

I don't think this is right, this won't work I know it won't.

They're a punishment right, that means we can't use them to help her.

They think it will stabilise everything but I don't think that's the case.

"3"

If we turn them all on at once wouldn't it rob her of her personality more.

"4"

What is we need to do the exact opposite....I know what we need to do!

"Wait!"

Everyone turned on their remotes. Everyone except me.

(Y/N) gasped for air and her clothes returned to their natural colour, but her eyes didn't, they flashed between every colour of the rainbow at an unnatural speed. She collapsed onto her knees before realising her gasp and falling limp.

"(Y/N)!?" Virgil ran straight to her whilst we all stood in silence, he scooped her up and put two fingers to her wrist then to her neck, "Guys, guys, guys she doesn't have a pulse. I-I can't find her pulse!" Logan bent down and tried to find her pulse himself, he couldn't.

Virgil looked up at him with tearfull eyes "Do something, please for God sakes do something!" He looked at Virgil knowing that there was no way to being her back "Virgil I-" "I LOVED HER! I loved her. And I think she loved me too." I felt guilt in that moment, what if it was my fault that it didn't work? No, I can't think like that. What I did, more what I didn't do was the right thing; I just don't know how I'm going to break that to Virgil.

It had been about ten minutes when I heard a door open upstairs, but we were all downstairs so I wondered who it could be, I glanced at the stairs but didn't see anything. I turned back to face the group when a creak was heard on the steps, this time I didn't face the steps and instead I counted down from seven in my head to test a theory.

Seven, Six, Five, Four, Three, Two, One

I adjusted my hook slightly, so that if anyone was walking past they would be sure to slip; and just as I had predicted a thud was heard.

So that wasn't the original plan-
