"This can't be right. Why am I, the crown prince of this kingdom—the soon to be king—here in this prison?!?!My wife is pregnant and she should be living in a good place! What will happen to my child if my wife miscarriage?!?! You will all pay for this!!!" A disheveled prince shouted as he hit his fist on the door. The soldier yawned at his soliloquy.
"Whine all you want, nothing will happen anyways." The guard smirked. A vein pooped from the prince's temple and was about to shout when he was stopped by his father.
"Just shut it, There is nothing you can do. Dont worry too much, ok?"
"What do you mean, father?"
"I had called for reinforcements," friedrich said.

The journey back to the palace was so silent that one could think that the carriage has no passengers inside. The Duke and the king were seated across each other without a word.
'I still failed as a father...' Jeremy sighed inside. He just wanted to be where his daughter was, so why on earth was he in a carriage, along with a bothersome suitor— back to the palace? Jeremy gritted his teeth.
"We both clearly know that she doesnt want any of us in the fief." Rudevich eyed Jeremy.
