CHAPTER 2

MMASINACHI'S POV

After the hug, all of us just stood there looking at one another awkwardly. Okay this is getting weird, so I decided to break the heart wrenching silence.

"My name's Mmasinachi and you all are"

"Carys"

"Tosin"

"Kamsy"

"Liam"

"Devin"

They all said after one another while I looked at all of them.

"Nachi" Carys said calling Osinachi I guess. He called that name twice yet no one responded. I looked up from my phone to see Carys waving his hand in front of me

"I called your name twice but you didn't respond" he said faking a pout

"You know, Nachi is not my name"

"Yeah I know its just that Mmasinachi is too long and Mma is too common, so why not Nachi"

"Makes sense, so why were you calling me"

"I want to get your number" He said it so easily like it was the most obvious thing in the world

"So, am I getting it or not"

"Sure"

We switched phones, I pressed my number into it and saved it as Nachi. I collected my phone from him and checked what he saved it as. What!!!

"Seriously, you didn't see any other name to save your number as apart from my boyfriend"

"What, Don't stress your little head, it will soon happen so what's there and I really need to go now" he walked away but not without blowing me a kiss

"Osinachi let's go. Bye guys"

I dragged Osinachi as we started walking towards the car.

"No need to continue pulling me we are already at the car door"

I let go of her hand and entered into the car. She came in after few minutes. I guess she was putting her boxes into the booth. People boxes not box

"What do you put into those boxes"

"My stuffs, don't judge me" she answered shrugging

"I'm definitely judging you"

"Let's change the topic" I told her

"What do you want to talk about"

"Carys"

"Awww, don't tell me you already like him"

"No I don't like him, and that's because I---"

"Don't believe in love at first sight" she completed my statement for me

"Soo are you going to tell me about him"

"Yes, his name is Carys as you already know, he is a loving person to be around, he's an A student. That's all I can think of for now"

"Okay, thanks" I said returning to my phone

Few minutes later we arrived at home. I went straight to my room since my dad wasn't yet back from work, there was no one to greet.

About 2 hours later my mom, called me downstairs to eat dinner and talk as a family.

Those words talk as a family did ring a bell. Mom always says that whenever something important is going to happen. I don't mean important as in good, I mean something that wouldn't go down well with either Osinachi or me

I shrugged of the feeling and went downstairs. As I approached the dining table everyone were already sitted, so I took my seat beside Osinachi. The food had already been set on the table so I dished mine and started eating it.

After we all finished eating, I made a move to get up but my dads voice stopped me

"Mmasinachi hold on"

He never calls my name in full unless something is coming

"Sir"

"Take your seat we all need to talk"

"O---kay"

"So what's going on" Osinachi asked light headedly

"One of you have to transfer to the other's school" my dad said

I looked at Osinachi and she looked back at me.

"We are not going to force either of you or pick who leaves their school, you both will pick between yourselves"

Before I could respond Osinachi beat me to it

"As for me I'm not leaving anywhere" she said while standing up and leaving the table.

"Mma listen, can you please transfer. You know there's no way that Osinachi is going to think about transferring to your school, just give it a second thought and reply alright. Please, just do it for me" my mom tried to make me see reasons

"Or should I kneel down"

I hate when my parents beg me because of something that isn't that relevant. I mean its just transferring to another school, Right!

"No no no, I can try for a term or two"

"Okay, just look on the bright side"

Is there really a bright side

"Yes mom, good night" I said while standing up and walking towards my room

I entered my room and laid there on the bed. Thinking about everything that went down today.

Going late to school

Going to Osinachi's school

Meeting her friends

The school seems nice, the people I've met so far seem okay, so there shouldn't be much problem transferring to Meadow hall high school, I can handle it like I've handled worse occasions. I guess

I thought to myself while drifting off to sleep
