CHAPTER 6

CARYS'S POV

'Me' I said to myself

"Darling, can't you remember when you asked me to become your girlfriend the day we went to the movies" Mmasinachi asked me

I looked around the table and all eyes were on us. The stares even exceeded the table to the whole hall.

"Yes I remember" I replied trying to cover up my confusion

"AND PEOPLE MIND YOUR BUSINESS!!" I shouted at everybody looking at our table

"So the confusion is clear Seyi" Mmasinachi said

"Seyi, why are you questioning her about her love life" Tosin asked

"Umm its nothing, right Mmasinachi" Seyi asked looking at Mma

He looked like he was going pee on himself any moment from now

"Ohh its definitely something" Mma replied

"What's going on" Osinachi asked this time around

"Tell them now, or I can say it of you don't want to" Mma said sweetly

"I need to go use the rest room" Seyi said trying to excuse himself but before he could pass, Tosin grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him back

"Do that thing you want to do in the rest room here, nobody is looking or are you guys looking" she questioned looking at all of us

"Noo" all of us on the table replied and half of the hall replied as well

All of us on the table looked at everybody in the hall and we all burst into laughter

This is Tosin in action. I swear if this girl disgraces you, you will feel like killing yourself right there on the spot

"Mma will you tell us what's going on" Kamsy asked

"I gladly will. So Seyi here was wait what am I saying its like we are dating ewww" Mma said looking disgustedly at him and eyeing him

"Seyi is my ex, he was the worst, I don't know what came over me that I accepted to become his girlfriend, he was the opposite of me. You guys know those stories where the opposites clash and are attracted, this wasn't one of those stories those stories this time around. I was trash to him so I kept it that way" the way she emphasized on 'is' and 'worst' made me laugh inwardly

"Osinachi you remember when we were at the mall?"

"Yes, you said you ran into an old ene--" She couldn't complete it because of Mma

"Shhh, this is my story to tell and simple yes or no question turned into my whole biography. This is how people fail exams" she said and we all erupted into laughter while Osinachi rolled her eyes playfully

"I unfortunately met Seyi there and he asked about my boyfriend and I'm like dude we were over long ago, to myself obviously, he asked if my boyfriend was better looking than him"

I scoff behind Mma and she turns to me

"Of course you're better looking than him and don't forget hotter" she said giving me that sexy wink and turning back to continue her story

People I'm beginning to feel like this is real. I hope she doesn't call me after this and tells me it was all an act, cause if she does that I'll cry my heart out

"I told him what he needed to hear and left him shock and jealousy ridden" She finished and looked at all of is most especially Tosin

I feel like she is waiting for Tosin's next move Urgently

"Seyi is it true" She asked unfazed

"Umm, like, you know" he said breathing loudly and panting like he just ran a Marathon

"UMM, LIKE, YOU KNOW WHAT!!" Tosin shouted and he flinched

"Yes" he said while bowing his head

"Don't worry, its all good you can go to the rest room now" she said while tapping his shoulder

He ran away as fast as he could and we all looked at Tosin, Obviously angry

"Come on guys, you seriously didn't think I'll let him go just like that" she said looking at us

"Well you did" Mma said

"There's more to it, be careful, a thunderstorm is coming" she said smirking evilly

"You are pure evil" I said to her

"I know" she said smiling cheekily at me

"Enough drama for one night, let's head back to our hostels. There's still tomorrow" Osinachi said and we all stood up and left the hall.
