CHAPTER 3

OSINACHI'S POV

I still felt guilty about leaving Mmasinachi there on the table. I knew she would agree to transfer schools. Its pretty  selfish, I mean its very selfish of me, but I didn't want to leave my school, moreover I know Mma will eventually love the school.

I knocked on Mma's door

"Mma can I come in"

"Yes, come in"

I entered and sat down beside her on her bed

"What are you doing"

"Chatting"

"I'm having Kamsy, Tosin, Carys and Liam over, then we'll head out"

"Sooo"

"I was wondering if you'll want to step out for a while"

"I don't really know, I'm pretty busy here"

"Doing what? If its chatting, you can chat with whoever while we're out. You don't really have any other excuse so just come along with, pretty please"

"Since i don't really have much doing here so i guess its okay by me"

"They'll be here in about 45 minutes, so take your time" I told her while stepping out

Yayy, actually Carys had texted me earlier and said I should please find a way to get Mmasinachi outside for a while, and its his treat so I agreed

I stepped into my room and called Carys. He picked up on the second ring

C: Is she coming

O: Yes

C: Thank you. I owe you one

O: I know. I'm cutting the call, I need to get ready

C: Right, I'll see her later

With that statement he cut the call and I started getting ready

45 minutes had passed and I heard the door bell ringing

I went downstairs and opened the door. I ushered them in while I went upstairs to check what was holding up Mmasinachi

"Mma aren't you done yet" I shouted while banging the door

"I am"

"Then come out already"

"And what if I don't want to"

"I'll dra--" I couldn't complete it because she opened the door

I looked at her for a while then she slammed the door in my face.   I stepped back a little, she opened it and walked out of the room

"That's for interrupting me" she said while walking away

I stood there dazed at her sudden outburst. I don't really understand if she meant interrupting whatever she was doing in there or for interrupting her on the dining table the other day. Whichever it is I am shocked

I got downstairs and headed to the living room, no one was there so I went outside and found all of them there

"What took you so long" Mma asked innocently

I rolled my eyes before answering her "I was recovering from a shock"

"Are you better now" she still asked so innocently and sweetly

Ohhh this is seriously getting on my nerves. Mma is sweet and all but don't try to play with her niceness. If you get on her bad side she'll keep quiet but later on she'll do something that will piss you off really bad, but guess what you can't do anything about it because she does it in a nice and sweet way. Its so nerve wrecking

"Yes I'm better. Alright, let's get going"

Since they all came in their own cars we headed off to shoprite to eat something then afterwards we'll go to silverbird cinema to watch a movie or something like that. I didn't really know everything that Carys had set up.

We arrived at shoprite and entered into the place

"It's my treat today so you guys can pick anything you want" Carys said

"Like anything" Mma said

"Yes" He replied

We all dispersed and started shopping for whatever we wanted

I picked few things and met all of them at the cashier stand except Mma

She walked in few minutes later with two full baskets

"Who is going to eat all those things"

"Me of course, did you think I picked anyone for you well if you thought so in your dreams" she said while walking up to the cashier

Everything was checked and we walked out with each of us carrying at least 2 bags while Mma carried 4. Mma lead the way while the rest of us walked at the same pace

"You know, this girl never cease to amaze me" Carys said

"I know right" Liam responded

We started heading towards silverbird cinema

After a while, we finished watching the movie and started heading home

Liam asked if he could talk to me for a while so I agreed

"So what did you want to talk about" I asked

"Osinachi" he said my name looking nervous

Liam is never nervous, but he is now. I hope this is going towards where I'm thinking. God please!!!

"I've really liked you for a while now, I don't really know how you feel about me but I was wondering if you could be my girlfriend"

Yes!!! he finally asked the question I've been waiting for, for weeks people

"I really like you too and I would love to be your girlfriend"

"Finally, it took me weeks to ask you that"

"Osinachi are you guys done doing your lovey dovey cause we really need to go" Mma shouted as we both turned to look at her and burst into laughter

"I take it that I'll see you another time" I said kissing his cheek

"Definitely" he replied hugging me and kissing my forehead before letting me go.

We headed towards our car and the driver drove off.
