CHAPTER 10

MMASINACHI'S POV

I looked at my supposed skirt with lots of questions in my head

What happened to my skirt

Who is the devils agent that tore my skirt apart

I was beyond furious. First day of school and this is what I get. I seriously wonder how the rest of my two years here will work out

I turned and walked towards the door but someone seriously didn't want me to live this day normally

First, my skirt has been torn

And now the door is locked from outside

What could I do? I stayed in there for a while and then all the lights in the place went off and I wasn't with my phone

Can you imagine?

I just hope that my phobia won't get any worst cause right now cause I'm hyperventilating

I started panicking and walking around the locker room. The phobia set in and i was seriously finding it hard to breathe.

I saw black dots, became dizzy and collapsed on the floor

CARYS'S POV

When I saw Nachi and Devin leave the classroom together I was jealous and I ain't denying it

Since he was giving her a tour round the school I decided to busy myself with at least going online

I checked my Instagram feeds. I did have followers but not as much as Liam. That guy is just photogenic

Liam and Osinachi entered the class later on. Seemed like they were searching for Nachi

"Carys" Osinachi said while tapping me lightly

"Hmm" I answered not bothering to look up at her

"Where is Mma, she's not in here"

"I think that question should be directed Devin and not me" I said in a kinda rude way

"Rude much, anyway, where's Devin"

"Dunno, he said something about giving Nachi a tour round the school"

"Okay when she comea,come ass please tell her to give me a call. I can't help but feel like she's in need of help or something like that"

"Will do" I said and she left the class but Liam stayed behind

"Why are you so Moody all of a sudden" Liam asked me

"I'm not moody, its just that I'm, I'm-- ughh. You know what I don't really know how I'm feeling right now"

"I know, you feel sad because she left with him, hurt because she broke your heart once, disappointed in yourself for not seeing it earlier and the feelings just keep on coming"

"How do you understand everything I'm feeling now"

"Cause I'm your best friend" he said in a duh tone

"and moreover I'm too good. Are you not feeling this guy" he said gesturing towards himself

"Anyhow, so what's the time" I asked him

"Dude you have your watch and your phone, check the time on either of the two"

"I know, it's just stress, raising my hand, turning my head, looking at the watch its too much work"

"Seriously?, well the time is 1:26pm"

"Don't you think Devin and Nachi have been gone for too long"

"I was not in your class when they left and is that the peak of your insecurities?"

"No I'm not insecure I'm just fixing a puzzle piece by piece"

Something is definitely wrong somewhere

Keva came into the class smiling proudly like she had gotten the biggest award in the world

Who cares, she's irrelevant

Few minutes after Keva came into the class, Devin also came insight

"Heyooo my people" Devin said while taking his seat in front of mine

"So what did you guys do" Liam asked him

"Why did you say it like we went on a date or something"

"Just answer the question" I said to him slightly annoyed

"Are you mad at me because of something" Devin asked looking at me suspiciously

I sighed deeply

"No I'm not mad at you for any reason" I said

"Ohh I thought you were mad at me because I took Mma on a tour round the school and we played basketball and she is surprisingly good at it" he said breathing a sigh of relief

Is he trying to test my patience or what? Cause if he is its definitely working well

"Speaking of Mma, where is she?" He asked looking around the class

"Are we not meant to be asking you that question" I said

"Well, I told her to go to the locker room and change into her skirt. I guess she is still doing her business in there"

We forgot about the whole situation and it was soon time for lunch. Liam, Devin and I walked into the cafeteria and took our seats as usual

The girls later came and took their seats but one was empty

"You guys, I'm curious so I have to ask where's Mma"

"I don't know, Devin was the last person I saw with her

All eyes on the table turned to Devin and he raised his hands above his head and sighed

"Look, I told her to go to the locker room and change into her skirt. That was the last time I saw her today" Devin said

"That was the last time I saw her today" Osinachi mimicked him

"And you didn't bother telling any girl to see what was holding her in there since its been long. If anything happens to my sister I'm so not going to forgive you easily" Osinachi said and left but not before she eyed Devin

We all turned to Devin after Osinachi left

"What did I do wrong" he said looking around the table

"Everything" Kamsy said and left as well
