***Jake***

  'I gotta find her.'

I sit up in bed and rub my face. These long nights are taking their toll on me. She has to be nearby,  I can feel it but I'm not close enough to hear it. I notice the dried blood on my hands. These evil beings are making it harder for me to get to her. Ridding the world of such anger, even just this town, would help everyone. But by doing so, it makes it hard for me to be out at night.
I go to the bathroom and take a shower. As the hot water washes the blood from my skin, I can't help but think where she could be. I can't search in the day, too many songs everywhere make it difficult.
I finish my shower and head to the kitchen. I reach into the fridge and pull out an apple. As I close it, my younger sister is standing there, giving me a look.
"You're going to get us discovered of you don't slow down."
"I'm sorry Anne. I need to find her." I run my fingers through my hair. "You don't know how much it's driving me crazy knowing she's in this town!" I punch the countertop.
I feel a hand on my shoulder. "Mine is here too bro. I'm going just as crazy as you are. But we can't lose our heads. We have to be more careful."
I nod and sigh. "Alright. So what's the plan for today?"
"I was thinking maybe we could go to the pizza place down the street n then take a walk at the park and after that we come home and get ready for karaoke? Take a breather n have some fun. Get out more." She looks at me hopefully.
I sigh. "Gimme five minutes." She laughs and runs to her room. I go to mine and change. I grab the keys and stand by the door.
  "Anne? You coming?"
"Yeah!" She runs down the hall and jumps down the last few steps of the stairwell. "Ready!" She darts out the door and we head to start the day. Ending it at the Blue Moon Karaoke bar.
