The Melody

Chapter 9

***Rae***

  I dont stop running till I'm in my house, doors locked. I lean against the door n catch my breath. After a few minutes knocking is at my door and my heart pounds.
  "Rae? You okay?" I sigh in relief when I realize its Jill and Adam. I open the door and usher them in before locking up again.
  "What happened Rae?"
  I sit on the couch and look at Jill. "He's hot. But freaking crazy. He says we're meant to be n how the song I sang was ours n crap."
  She looks at me confused. "What? What does he mean by that?"
  "Well I wasnt going to stick around to ask." I sit in my chair. "He grabbed my arm n I beat him up n ran here." My dogs come up n sit by me. I pet them as my mind still races.
  The dogs start to growl right before theres a knock on the door.
 

I look through the window and see him. I back away and cover my mouth.
  "Rae?" Adam and Jill look at me with concern.
  "He followed me. Hes at the freaking door!" I whisper loudly.
  Adam stands and opens the door. "Look buddy. I don't know what you want but plea-" Adam never finished what he was going to say. He fell to the floor with a loud thud. Jill and I scream as Jake grabs me and runs out the door.
  "Rae!
  The last thing I saw was Jill standing by Adam's unconscious body, before my vision went black. My last thoughts were. 'Where is he taking me? Is this how I'm going to die?'
