To my baby girl, Shari, Lynn. You took what little was left of my soul with you when you left this world. You were always loved beyond measure and unconditionally. You will be forever missed. The universe no longer makes sense without you. You left me with a million different feelings and each one is forever broken.
And to Janelle, who was the first person I felt myself wanting to share this story with. I do not know how you did it, but you made it okay to talk about the darkness. When it comes to who you can trust, sometimes you just have to hand someone the sharpest emotional knife you have, bare your throat, and accept that the next step is theirs to make.
