The Glitch In The System | The Fourth Wall Is Broken

I sat in my seat slowly falling asleep, when I was rudely woken up by Ida's booming voice.

" Everyone!! Morning homeroom's about to begin. To your seats"

" I'm awake..!" I shot up and rubbed my eyes. Luckily Uraraka ( who was sitting to my left) was the only one who heard me.

The door opened and in came Aizawa, who was wrapped like a mummy.

"Morning" He said in a grumpy voice.

" You're back already, Aizawa Sensei!!" someone shouted.

Aizawa wobbled to the front of the class

Is this guy okay?! Shouldn't he still be resting up!?

"Glad to see you doing well Sensei!!" Ida yelled.

"If you call that "doing well"..." Uraraka muttered.

" My welfare isn't important. Because your fight is far from over."

" our fight?" Bakugou asked

" More villains?!" squeaked Mineta.

" UA's sports festival is fast approaching" Aizawa said 

" That's so totally ordinary!!" the class screamed

" It's necessary to demonstrate that UA's crisis management protocols are sound... That's the thinking apparently. Compared to past years, there'll be five times the police presence. Anyhow, our sports festival is... The Greatest opportunity you'll get. It's not an event that can be cancelled over a few villains"

" You sure about that" Mineta spoke from behind Midoriya.

Midoriya turned around " Mineta.. are you telling me you've never seen UAs sports festival?!"

" of course I have. That's not what I mean..."

" Our sports festival is one of Japans biggest events!" Aizawa spoke " The olympics were once the worlds sports festival. The whole country would be whipped into a frenzy over them. But as you know that tradition has shrunk to a scale of its former self..."

The class was silent.

" And as far as Japans concerned, what's taken the place of the Olympics is...

The UA Sports Festival"

" the nations top heroes will be watching right? They'll be there as scouts!" Yaoyarozu spoke.

" naturally you'll gain valuable experience and popularity if you're picked up by a big name hero But your time is limited. Show the pro's what you're made of here, and you'll make a future for yourselves. This happens once a year...so you've got three chances. If you're hoping to become a hero, this is an event you can't miss."

It's now lunch time.

" Our futures...!" I slumped in my seat and let my head rest on the desk " That's to much pressure..." I whined " I want to go to sleep..."

" What about lunch?" Asked Todoroki who was packing his things.

" I'll just have some sleep for lunch..." I sighed, burring my head in my arms.

"What happened to your face, Uraraka?!"  

I lifted my head in the direction of the noise.

" Everyone!! I'm gonna crush this!!" Yelled an out of character Uraraka.

I put My head back down, making Todoroki slightly annoyed.

" I heard they were serving that cake you like" He said.

I perked up at the thought of cake, and quickly packed my things.

" ....so predictable" Todoroki said under his breath.

" Come one! I want to get there before it's all gone!"

Todoroki slowly followed.

The crowd quickly gathered, making it impossible to get to the cafeteria early.

" aw man...I might not make it in time"

"....Perhaps All Might has taken a liking to him" Ida said in the distance, this made Todoroki quietly look in his direction. I took notice of this.

"hm? Is something wrong, Todoroki?" I asked not having heard Idas remark.

" No.."

We continued to walk towards the cafeteria, and once we got in I immediately went in search of the cake. I felt a tug on my shirt.

"Hm?"

Todoroki pointed in the direction of the cake.

" ah. Thanks!" I ran over to the cake, and bought a slice. I looked over back to where Todoroki stood, but he was long gone.

" Where the hell does that boy go every time?" I sighed " ah, well"

I went and sat with my good friends, Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu.

" Hi, Y/N!" Tanjiro scouted over, allowing me room to sit.

" Hey hey"I greeted.

" You guy's hear about the sports festival?" I asked.

" Yeah! " Inosuke said while he was still chewing" 

" Inosuke! Don't talk while you have food in your mouth! It's disgusting!" Zenitsu snarled.

Inosuke swallowed his food " I'm going to crush them all!!!" He laughed.

" I don't know man, There's some strong people here" I told him.

" Well, I'm definitely the strongest!!" 

Ignoring Inosuke I asked a question "Oh! Do you guys remember which first year won last year?"

"I think it was some guy with bright blue hair" Zenistu spoke scratching his head.

" Well, than who won second place?" I asked.

" I think it was you, Zenitsu!" Tanjiro said exitedly.

" Was it? I barely remember, I was passed out half the time..."

" oh! That's so cool!" I said " you must have been popular!"

Zenistu perked up " I was pretty popular! And I got a lot of pro's who wanted me to intern at theirs!"

The four of us continued to talk about the upcoming sports festival. I knew what was going to happen, Bakugou was going to win first place after Todoroki refused to use his fire against him. This was also the time when the whole " It's your power Todoroki!!" thing was going to happen. All I needed was a game plan.

There isn't much to talk about here, but I hope you still liked it, even though it was shorter than most.

The sports festival will be coming two more chapters, where Y/N Get's to interact with her classmates outside of school a little, and we'll get to see Y/N and Tanjiro train together under the guidance of both Urokodaki and even Tomioka! Or as Y/N likes to call him, Aniki!
