The Glitch In The System | The Fourth Wall Is Broken

Training For The Sports Festival!

"The Sports Festival is coming up, so you two need to get into shape! " Nezuko huffed. We were in the back yard.

" But aren't we already in shape?" I told her. " I mean, have you seen Tanjiro?" I said pointing to the boy next to me.

" Ah, good point" She put her hand to her chin, thinking.

" But I think we should still practice some more" Tanjiro said.

" maybe.." I said shrugging my shoulders. " I do need to practice my sword and staff skills a little more"  I had never really been, but it turns out, I was a natural and a quick study in the area.

With his quirk, Tanjiro didn't need a sword to use a breathing style, but it did help him channel it better. With his quirk he can use fire like pyrokinesis. It's really cool once you see it in action. However his other quirk ; Opening Thread, lets him see his opponents openings with a tread only he could see. He also has a really strong forehead that can break through rocks.

" hmm.. There are three rounds in the sports festival right? The first two are different every year, but there is always a 1 v 1 round robin style match at the end to determine the top four. So maybe we should focus and our combat skills?" I suggested.

" Sure!" Tanjiro Replied.

" Oh I have an idea!" Nezuko pointed out.

" why don't you fight and the first one to get a point win,s and you can use your quirks too!"

" so like, a karate match?" I asked. I put my hands on my hips. " either way, its a good idea!" I shouted.

" Nezuko, do you want to judge?" Tanjiro asked her.

" yeah!"

Nezuko stood to the side, while me and Tanjiros stood opposed to each other. 

" eh? now?!" I asked confused. " oh why not" 

" get ready..." said Nezuko as Tanjiro and I took a fighting stance. " Go!!"

Tanjiro and I charged at each other, Tanjiro tried coming at me with a firery fist, but I blocked him and tried going in for a punch, but he jumped away last second. He took a sharp breath and activated his quirk he brought his arm up to his shoulder and sent a wave of fire straight at me, in defense I made my wings and used them as shields.

they had taken a blow like this before, so they can do it again!

I was sent back a step by the force of Tanjiro's blow.

" whoa! You've gotten stronger!" I said in surprise.

" I didn't know you could use those wings as shields!?" He said shocked but still ready to fight.

" yeah, me neither!" I took up a fighting stance, my wings still on my back in case I needed them for later.

I ran full speed at Tanjiro, only to dupe him and duck down to sweep his feet, with him on the ground I punched him quickly in the chest.

" One point for Y/N nee-san!"

" ha ha! take that!" I extended an arm and helped him up.

" You've been getting better, Y/N." Tanjiro patted my head.

Tanjiro and I stood back in our spots, and once again took a stance, neither of us were out of breath. 

" Get ready..." Nezuko said " Go!!!"

This time I manifested a staff, which I had planed to use in the sports festival.

I spun the staff around, and used it to gracefully block any incoming attacks.
