No Sleep - Why Are You Like This?

I had barely been home for an hour, but the chaos that was this house, arose once again. Tanjiro had told me to get some rest, but was going to be impossible with Zenitsu clinging on to me, asking me if I was okay.

" Zenitsu, I'm okay, really" 

" Are you sure...?"

"yes, I'm sure" I reassured him while while patting his head.

" Zenitsu, Y/N had a rough day, you should really let her rest." Tanjiro tried to tell him.

It took a while, but eventually we got Zenitsu to leave. Tomioka and Zenitsu practically had to drag him back to his house. 

" Tomioka, what's for dinner?" a hungry Nezuko asked. Tomioka looked at her with shock, he had forgotten that Urokodaki had asked him to make dinner.

" How about we order.... pizza?" he asked us.

" Yay! Pizza!" Nezuko jumped for joy.

" Well, I'm not going to say no to that" Tanjiro chuckled.

" Sounds good!" I told him.

Tomioka was mere seconds away from dialing the local pizza shop. " Tanjiro " He handed Tanjiro the phone. " you order it".

Tomioka was never good with people, but he was quite popular among girls, mainly because of his looks. But if it's the same logic in this world, he isn't very well liked among the pillars.But, his heart was definitely in the right place and he was a good man, but his people skills was way below where it should be.

However, Tanjiro excelled in people skills, he got along with everyone and it was easy to see why. He was always smiling and could cheer anyone up. He would become a great hero someday.

We all ate the pizza in silence.

" You know the craziest thing happened today" I told them.

" You're class was already attacked by villains, what could be crazier then that?" Nezuko asked.

" Iwaizumi can teleport"

they all deadpanned. " what?!"

I went to bed early that night, but I still couldn't fall asleep, my mind was plagued with memories of the past. I have had multiple nights like this, and it ate away at my sanity.

is my family okay? are they still looking for me? what about my friends? What's it like back there? Wait.

I shot up and put my hands to my head.

 what if-what if I'm in some kind of  coma? Is this all some messed up dream created by a mind that is fighting to stay alive?  How come I've never thought of this before?!

Iwaizumi perked up and jumped into my lap, he was currently in cat form.

Mew ( what's wrong?)

" oh, it's nothing...." I stroked his back

Meow ( whatever you say, Y/N....)

I laid back down with Iwaizumi beside me.

I didn't get much sleep that night, and what sleep I did get, was filled with bad dreams and unwanted reminders of the past. I was woken up by a bad dream, but since I had to pay a visit to the twins at the flower shop, I got out of bed and headed to the kitchen.

" Y/N? You're up early" Tanjiro was always an early bird.

I rubbed my eyes " I need to go to The Flower Garden." 

" Are you going to visit the twins again?"

"yeah"

It was about 12ish when I left, and I decided to grab a snack from the corner store.
