The Glitch In The System | The Fourth Wall Is Broken

I swear, It's Not What It Looks Like

It was now evening.

I was on my way to the corner store near the house, I got there within five minuites. I was proud of myself for not getting lost. I walked in, and the cashier waved and smiled at me, so I did the same back. I grabbed a basket, and pulled out the small list of things I came to get

' Nezuko wanted some Ice tea, and a kit kat, Tanjiro wanted a pack of gummy bears, and Tomioka didn't want anything. okay, I just want a pack of skittles, the original kind. I hope they have it here'

I Looked around the store, and found Tanjiro's pack of gummies, and Nezuko's kit kat, the skittles were a little hard to find, and there was only one left, so I took it. I went over to the drink aisle, and saw that the Ice tea, was a bit to high up for me to reach. Lets pretend Y/N is around 5'3 

' Curse my short arms!' 

I tried going on my toe's but that only helped a bit.  That's when I heard someone walk behind me as a shadow loomed over head, they reached over and grabbed the drink with ease.

' fuck' 

" Here you were trying to get this, right?"

I turned around and saw Todoroki, he was giving me the drink.

" ah yes, thank you! I guess I was too short to reach it, heh" I let out a small smile as I took the drink from his hand. Much to my surprise he smiled a bit as well, but it wasn't very noticeable.

<The Cashier, who was a kind old lady, was watching the whole scene from a distance, and chuckled a bit. >

I walked up over to the cashier and placed my items on the table.

" That's a nice young man you got there, I would go after him before anyone else can" She winked at me. 

I blinked twice, cunfused " oh no, I only just met him " I said waving my hands around a bit slightly blushing. The lady only laughed. 

" your total comes to 688 Yen, dear" About 6.50 usd

 I paid the Cashier, took my stuff and left the store. I sat on a curb so I could serch for the directions, since I had forgoten, and I didn't want to get lost.

Soon after Todoroki walked out of the store too. I had gotten my google map to work and I left.

I took out my skittles, I was very happy that I could find some, I would have them all the time back at home. To me, they were very nostalgic, my school cafeteria sold them every day for about 2 dollars, so me and my friends would buy them almost every chance we got, and I would always share mine with my close friends. 

I would look at my phone everynow and then for the directions. Two minuites past, and I took the same turns Todoroki did.

' God, I hope he doesn't think I'm following him. '

Todoroki was feeling a little suspiuos, so he stopped and starteed walking toward me.

"L/N"

" what's up..?" I said, phone in hand.

He had that same vibe he had at the start of the show. It was intimidating.

" are you following me?" he said as cold as ever.

" No I'm not, just live close by, see" I said showing him the directions on my phone,

"oh" got a little softer and turned away " sorry about that" he walked away.

" It's no problem...?" I continued to walk home.

A couple minutes later, I got home. 

<Todoroki was a few meters away, he stopped turned around and waited until Y/N got inside. Then he continued on his way. He did feel a little bad for suspecting that she was following him, but he tried to shake it off>

' Maybe, she's not so bad' He thought to him self, as his hair did a little hair swoosh in the wind.

 This was a shorter chapter, but I still enjoyed writing it.

This chapter was a small hint to the relationship between the two.

The skittles will play a part in their relationship too, can you guess  how? :)
