That Looked Like It Hurt

Midoriya and Shinsou stood in the ring. In each corner there was fire gushing out from the ground.

" The first match!!" Yelled an excited Present Mic. " making a weird face despite his excellent performance, it's Izuku Midoriya from the hero course!!"

Midoriya looked both determined and freighted at the same time.

" Sorry, but this guy hasn't really done anything to stand out yet! It's Hitoshi Shinsou, from general studies!!"

Shinsou did not look very pleased to be there, nonetheless, he was standing strong.

The two boys stood facing each other. Shinsou stood wide open with his hands hanging at his sides. Midoriya looked ready fight.

"The rules are simple! Win by knocking your opponent out of the ring, immobilizing them or getting them to say " I give up" ! Bring the pain!! We've got our good old recovery girl on standby!! And fight dirty if you must! "ethics" have no meaning here!"

Cementos sat in a chair made of cement on the sidelines.

" Well of course, going for the kill is a no-no!! You'll be disqualified! Because a true hero's fists only fly when in pursuit of villain's!!"

I tapped my foot in anticipation.

Shinsou started speaking, but I couldn't hear what. All I know is that he was dissing Bakugou in front of Midoriya.

Present Mic's voice blared through the speaker " Now Lets get this thing Started!!"

Upon hearing Shinsou, Midoriya's face twisted in anger.

"START!!!"

Midoriya dashed towards Shinsou " What'd you say?!"

I pinched the bridge of my nose, I knew it was coming, but even after Ojiro warned him, he still spoke. Shinsou had gotten to him, and Midoriya froze on the spot

" Dammit, Midoriya. I warned you!!" Oijiro panicked.

On-the-other-hand, Todoroki seemed almost mad. He clutched his sleeve as he crossed his arms. Todoroki wanted to fight Midoriya for many reasons. His main reason being that Midoriya had caught the eyes of All Might, the man his father trained and created him to surpass. In a way, Todoroki was only looking for approval, and this was his chance to get it.

Present Mic blared into the speakers once again " Hey, Hey what's wrong? This battle's just beginning show us some sprit!! Mere seconds into the match...Midoriya's frozen in place?! Looking confounded he's not even twitching!! Could this be Shinsous quirks?! We were barely aware this guy even existed, but now...He is sure is one to keep an eye on!"

Shinsou spoke again, and Midoriya turned around to walk out the ring without hesitation.

" Whoa! Midoriya's following orders like a good little boy!!"

"come on...any day now..." I murmured. I was waiting for Midoriya to break free from the trance, and began tapping my foot at a faster rate.

Suddenly, Midoriyas fingers twitched, causing an immerse force to be sent out. And Midoriya stopped walking, and turned around to face Shinsou once again.

"What's this...? Midoriya! He stopped?!"

Midoriya covered his mouth to stop him from speaking.

Shinsou stood there shocked, he did not expect this to happen.

Midoriya charged towards Shinsou, and Shinsou tried the best he could to agitate him. But it wasn't working. Midoriya charged at Shinsou and tried pushing him out the ring, but shinsou hit him square in the face. Midoriya tried to garb his leg, but he dodged and tried to punch him again. Midoriya grabbed his hand and used Bakugous move to flip him onto the ground. Causing him to land outside the ring.
