Well, first we have Thalia. She is the girl in the cover of the book, with her purple hair, she is made fun of all the time. Now, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harrison. The mother is a sweet soul, but she is blinded by her "love" for Mr. Harrison. Now, the father, Mr. Harrison, is a cold-hearted lazy man. He goes to clubs at night and comes back at around 4:30 in the morning. Thalia has learned to live with it. One thing she didn't know, her mother *cough* had *cough* a baby on the way.
