Overhaul

Note: I'm gonna put some more custom cards in to depower Demonknite a little.

Robert POV

Well since I'm not obligated to watch Joey's duel with Bandit Keith I'm just gonna throw a guess out that Joey's gonna win it because I sensed a dragon in his deck. Do he'll be fine. I am just sitting here with Dark Magician Girl asleep on my lap while I'm watching cartoons because I can. And I enjoy them.

Me: "Why is it she has to fall asleep on me?"

Dark Magician: "You took care of our cards."

Me: "Leave it to you to answer a retoracle question."

He continues silently drinking his coffee.

Me: "You enjoying that?"

Dark Magician: "Yes."

Me: "You mind if I ask you something?"

Dark Magician: "No."

I sit up as much as I can and carefully take off Dark Magician Girl's hat. Or whatever it is and set it on the table.

Me: "Did....you know my other self in the past...and what did you think of me in comparison?"

Dark Magician sits there for a moment just quietly drinking his coffee.

Dark Magician: "I think you share a lot with him."

Me: "How so?"

Dark Magician: "Your both very good people. And you look similar."

Me: "Thanks. I won't press you for much more if your unconfortable answering."

Dark Magician: "The only difference between both of you is your temperament. Your calmer than he was then."

Me: "Thanks for the answers..."

I look at him and muster the best smile I could.

Dark Magician: "Your welcome. But I can tell your more insecure and indecisive than him."

Then my other, who manifested in the arm of the couch in front of me falls off laughing.

Other: "He's Right You Know!"

Well he's not gonna be very supportive here.

Me: "Well thanks for that Dark Magician. I was just curious."

I lift up Dark Magician Girl and take her to the bed. Well I might as well prepare for my Duel with Pegasus since I've got time. I sit down on the ground and take out my deck as well as all of the spare cards I carry with me and I start going through my deck lying out all the cards I know I'm gonna keep until I get to Dark Magician.

Me: "It looks like I'm going to need your help Dark Magician. I don't think my deck would work without you...but it's funny, when I first got you I didn't think too much of it, same as when I started collecting cards to build my deck I unintentionally built it around you without thinking."

He probably smiled a little at that as I continue setting out my deck. I have Dark Magician and the Magician Girls in the Keep pile. And I start looking through the spare cards I had on me, stopping on an odd one.

Me: "What's this, I never had this card before."

Other: "I think it may be tied to me because that's the marking on my forehead."

Me: "And here's another one, a Ritual spell in Hieroglyphics so I can't read it."

I set both of them down and look towards them. I don't know why but I'm getting this tugging from them. It's like something is telling me to put them in my deck.

Me: "Well, they might be handy to have."

I put them in my deck despite having the odd feeling I'm getting that it's a bad idea. I continue by putting both Palladium Oracle Mahad Palladium and Oracle Mana in my deck too alongside Buster Bladed the Destruction Swordsman. I add polymerization and Magicialized fusion as well as the Dark Magicians, Dark Calvary, Dark Paladin, And Quintet Magician, Obnoxious Celtic Guardian, Arsen Gaia the Fierce Knight, my Familiar Posessed cards, Silent Magician LV4 and LV8, and the spell cards I usually put in: the One Shot Wand, Celestial Sword-Eatos, Divine Sword Phoenix Blade, Terminus Est, and Noble arms Caliburn with a pot of Greed on top of that. I add Spikeshield with Chain, Dark Magician Knight and Knights Title as well. And I finish with The Gift of The Mystical Elf trap card. It looks like I finished with the Overhaul of my deck and I fall backwards with it in my hands. I then pull the Egyptian Hieroglyph card and look at it.

Me: "Finished. That was one heck of an overhaul but it'll be worth it in the end. Now all I have to do is figure out what This Cards conditions are. Since the entire thing is in Hieroglyphics so I can't read Diddly Shit off of it."

Dark Magician Girl: "Read off of What?"

She was floating above me again. It's honestly a little weird.

Me: "This card. It's in Hieroglyphics."

I show it to her and she looks at it curiously for a moment.

Dark Magician Girl: " all I can read from it is The and Ritual...but that card seems really spooky if you ask me Master!"

Me: "Well Good Thing I Didn't."

Dark Magician Girl: "That was a mean thing to Say Master!"
