I am Bailey Johnson, I grew up on our family farm that's called Johnson's Farm. For the past 5 years I have been at Royal Veterinary College University of London. I was studying to be a vet and last month I completed my 5 years and I am now a qualified vet.
The past month I have been packing up my dorm room and getting ready to head home which is at White Waltham England. I was going to surprise my family and just turn up but last night I got a phone call from my dad asking if I had finished and if I could return home because my grandad has cancer and is very sick and my dad is running the farm with 1 other man who I am told is my brothers best friend.
I told my dad I was coming home soon anyways as I was going to surprise them but I said I would get the first bus in the morning. He said if I had other plans he would figure it out but he just needed someone who knew how to manage the farm and also who can help save the animals. My grandma is a vet also but my dad told me she has had to retire recently to look after my grandad.
I am so excited to be going home, I can't wait to see my dad, brother, grandma and grandad. The saddest part is I never knew my mother, she passed away after giving birth to me but I have a beautiful picture of her and I carry it with me everywhere.
