Paradise Bound

Chapter 26

Zeke POV

I was fighting with my dad with the help of Cole and Blade and then he pulls a gun out of nowhere, he points it at my mum and Faye and I know I have Bailey and our baby to think about but I see red and charge at him trying to disarm him, I hear a massive bang and then I fall to the floor and my dad falls on top of me, I head Bailey scream no, I push my dad off me and check myself and thankfully I am fine.

I turn to my dad and see he is bleeding from the stomach, I tell Cole to put pressure on it because either though I hate my dad I don't want him dead. I then hear Blade scream Bailey and I turn to see Hayley head butting Jace and pulling a knife out of her sleeve and then thrusts it into Bailey stomach.

Zeke – NO!

I quickly jump up and run to Bailey, I hear her say I love you and then she passes out. I will never hit a women but in this moment I really wish I could just punch the living day lights out of Hayley, I get on the floor and hold my hand over her wound. I see Jace push Hayley over to the police and Jess the doctor came in and went straight over to Faye.

I'm really struggling because my fiancée life and my baby's life is on the line but I also want to comfort my sister. I look behind me at Faye and she smiles slightly and mouths to me that it's okay. For someone so young she is so mature. Jace starts speaking.

Jace – We need to get her to hospital NOW!

I see Jace look down and we see a puddle of water mixed with blood. I then realise Bailey waters have broken.

Zeke – Please tell me she is going to be okay?

Jace – I need to get her to hospital and deliver the baby otherwise they will both die. I need you to put pressure on the wound and hold it there all the way. She can't loose anymore blood!

This can work to our advantage because tadpole is a big baby, she would be 8 months tomorrow so giving the size of her belly I would say tadpole is weighing hopefully at 7 or 8 pounds which is good but he or she could have breathing problems but we won't know until he or she is here. Now lets go!

I haven't checked on Blade since he witnessed his sister being stabbed but right now Bailey and tadpole are my main priority. Jace picks her up and I stand with him and keep my hand on her wound. We set her down in his car and I get in the back with her and keep putting pressure on the wound.

We pull up at the hospital and there are nurses outside waiting, Jace must of sent out an alert to them. We get Bailey out and put her on a stretcher and they wheel her through. Jace stops in front of me.

Jace - I'm sorry but I need you to wait out here while we set up for the surgery but once we have everything sorted I will send someone to come and get you. Bailey won't be awake during the C-Section but you will witness your baby being born.

Zeke – Okay just do what you can to save them both.

He runs off and I sit down in the waiting area, I hear Tucker call me and I turn and see everyone is here apart from my mum and Faye, I need to text them when I can.

Tucker – Is she okay?

Zeke – They are prepping for surgery, I'm sorry I just left you Blade, it couldn't of been easy seeing your sister be stabbed and also seeing my sister being räped.

Blade – Mate it's okay! It's not your fault and you did the right thing and made Bailey and the baby a priority. I know she is in good hands.

Jessica comes out and says I can go back, Jace must of asked her to be in the surgery too. I change into blue scrubs and walking into the surgery room, I see Bailey lying there still asleep, there is a screen over the top half of her body and her belly is out and has blue line markings where they are going to cut.
