Patay (dead)
Ex: patay na si kuya (big brother is dead)
Tsinelas (flipflop)
Usually used as a punishment for misbehaving children
Ex:
Diba sabi ko sayo,hugasan mo ung pinggan? Halika dito. Papaluin kita ng tsinelas. (Didn't I tell you,to wash the dishes? Come hear. I'll spank you with a flipflop)
