Chapter 23: Dont say that!

Vylad's PoV ( at home)

"Hey Vylad!" Aphmau called from the top of the stairs

"Yeah!" I shouted back

"Can you help me carry these boxes down to the basement?" She asked

"Sure," I said, walking up the stairs

There was a few boxes needing to be carried down, aphmau grabbed one and carried it down.

I also grabbed one and helped by taking it down.

"So, what are these boxes for?"I asked, placing the box next to the one she had just put down

"Well, I'm having a party and I'm inviting everyone, so I decided to buy a bunch of decorations," she explained

" oh cool," I said

" yup," she said, running upstairs to get another box, I followed behind her

Time skip

After I helped Aphmau with her boxes, I sat on my bed bored.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about Dante, he really is an amazing boyfriend.

Maybe I should-

"Thinking about me?" A voice cut off my train of thought

I looked over to to the stairs to see Dante.

Just seeing him put a smile on my face.

" I mean, I would be lying if I said I wasn't," I said

He giggled and came to sit next to me.

" hey," he said

"Hello," I said

"So, how was your day?" He asked

"Better now," I said, smiling brightly

He laughed and ruffled my hair.

"hey!" I exclaimed fixing my hair, which made him laugh even more

He moved closer to me and placed his hand on top of mine, making me blush.

Zane's PoV

I was watching my little horsies, when I got a knock on my door.

I lazily got up and opened the door.

"What," I groaned

I looked up to see Travis, Which made my face heat up. He was holding a tray of cupcakes.

"Can I come in?" He asked

Then I remembered he was gonna watch my little horsies with me today, which put a slight smile on my face.

" fine," i said rolling my eyes

I walked back over to the couch and sat down, curling up into my black blanket.

I heard the door shut, and footsteps heading my way.

Travis placed the cupcakes on my coffee table and sat down next to me.

He picked up one and held it in front of my face.

I stared at it then slowly reached up to take it.

" Um thanks," I mumbled hoping he wouldn't hear me

I stared at the cupcake, but I didn't want to take off my mask. I didn't want him to see my real face, my ugly one.

" Zane you ok?" He asked

" y-yeah," i stuttered

" Zane are you worried about your mask?" He asked

I just nodded, slowly.

I felt a hand grab mine.

"Don't be," Travis smiled

A blush spread across my face

His other hand reached up and he rested it on my cheek.

"A-are you sure?" I asked

He nodded and slowly took off my mask, revealing my freckles.

" wow," Travis whispered

" I know I'm ugly," I muttered

" don't say that!" Travis exclaimed, "you're far from ugly, in fact you're the most adorable person I have ever met!"

I blushed a brighter shade of red and I took a bite out of the cupcake

" good?" Travis asked me

I nodded slowly

We continued to sit there watching my little horsies and eating cupcakes.
