Lost in the Shadows: Chapter 4: Co-Captain Part 2

Savannah's Point of View

Stiles and Derek picked me up after school. We were going to Beacon Hills long term hospital to see Derek's uncle, Peter.

Derek was being accused for all the murders that have been happening in Beacon Hills.

Stiles went inside the hospital because Derek couldn't because he was an alleged murderer.

A few minutes after Stiles went in he called Derek.

Derek told Stiles to ask for Jennifer she was the one who was taking care of Derek's uncle.

Stiles said something to Derek over the phone, I couldn't hear what is was.

"Stiles get out of there right now! It's him! He's the alpha! Get out!" Derek yelled into the phone. He got out of the car and ran into the building.

I followed Derek into the building.

A woman with a lab coat and fiery red hair stood on one side of Stiles. This must be Jennifer.

A man with a black coat and shaggy brown hair stood on the other side of Stiles, Derek's uncle Peter.

Derek elbowed Jennifer in the face, knocking her to the ground, unconscious.

"That's not nice" Peter said. "She's my nurse."

"She's a psychotic bitch helping you kill people." Derek said to Peter. Then he said to Stiles "get out of the way."

Stiles hid behind the counter in the hall of the hospital. I hid with him.

Derek's uncle was the one killing people and Derek was taking the blame for all the people he killed.

"You think I killed Laura on purpose?" Peter said, walking toward Derek.

"One of my own family?" Peter challenged.

Derek's eyes changed from his normal hazel to a bright pale blue and a growl ripped from his throat.

Stiles and I remained behind the counter and watched Derek and Peter fight.

Savannah's POV

After Derek and Peter stopped fighting Stiles and I ran out of the hospital and got into his jeep.

"What the hell was that?!" I yelled at him as he hopped into the drivers seat.

"Look, it's a little hard to explain. Right now we just have to got get out of here now!" Stiles said in a hurry. He started the car and we tore from the parking lot in seconds.

"So Derek and his uncle are werewolves? Is anyone else a werewolf?" I asked him.

He gave me a look that said it was time for me to shut up.

"Yes" he answered. "Peter and Derek are werewolves. And so is Scott."

Did I hear that right? "Scott's a werewolf?" I asked.

"Yes" Stiles replied.

He dropped me off at the house and went to the school to see what Scott was doing and tell him what was going on.

Mom was already in bed, probably asleep by now. Considering it was almost eleven at night. I opened the front door carefully, trying not to make any noise and wake up Mom.

I used the light from my phone to make my way up the stairs.

I got to my room and pulled the blind on my window down. I closed my door and then turned on my lamp on my little table next to my bed.

I found some pjs in my dresser drawer on the wall next to my bed. I put them on, and then slipped my boots off.

I pulled the comforter down halfway and sat on my bed. I turned off my lamp and fell asleep on top of my bed.

As soon as I fell asleep I had a dream.

I was standing in the woods all alone.

I could smell smoke, I turned around to see the hale house on fire.

I heard a growl from behind me.

I turned around to see Derek's uncle peter in full alpha form, a beast. Behind him stood Derek and Scott in full werewolf form too.

"For everything you have done" Peter said in his human voice.

He crept toward me on all fours. And slashed my throat with his claws.
