Okay after sooooo many people got stuck on the shopping scene where Gerard buys "toast" I feel like I have to clarify that.
I am german and at the time writing this I didnt know that toast in english didnt mean the same as it did in german.
Here "toast" is just sliced white bread that you buy at the store and either eat it like that or put in a toaster (hence the name).
I am now aware that this word with that meaning doesn't exist in the english language lmao.
Sorry for the confusing.
So what I meant was that he was just buying sliced white bread.
