i haven't been feeling great the past few days, to quote roman: 'I'm not feeling like my fabulous self right now! I am bitterly jittery and not very glittery!' which is why this chapter took so long to come out, sorry about that

"So what exactly is your job?"

"I work at the community theatre. I work backstage helping with sets and costumes and then do the lights when there are shows. I do like being the one on the stage but I prefer to be on the more creative side of performing. You know, coming up with scripts, designing sets and costumes, just making the world and stage come alive"

"You're really passionate about it"

Roman rubbed his neck awkwardly, "um yeah"

"That's a good thing, you should enjoy where you work. What show are you're currently working on?"

"Chicago"

"Oh I love that film, haven't seen the stage musical though"

"What about you? Where do you work?"

"Don't freak out."

"Okay?"

"I work at Disney World"

Roman let out an ungodly scream and practically tackled Virgil,

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?! I live and breathe Disney! How could you betray me like this? What do you do?"

"I'm no one special, I just show kids to the Princess meet and greet, but...okay you can't tell Thomas this, but my manager put me up for an audition for the role of Flynn Ryder"

"Holyshitholyshitholyshitholyshit! That's amazing! Wait, why can't I tell Thomas?"

"He's been trying to get me to go for one of the acting roles for a while now and I don't want to disappoint him if I don't get it"

"Virge, nothing you could do could make Thomas disappointed in you. That kid adores everything you do"

"Heh, I guess"

Virgil was slouched across two seats in front of the stage as the actors ran through the 'Press Conference Rag' scene. Roman asked him if he wanted to help put the sequins on the costumes but Virgil told him where to shove it. Instead, he worked on a commission he was behind on, while also enjoying hearing the actors bitch to each other whenever they messed up.

After half an hour Virgil was beginning to regret his decision. If he has to listen to the line "they both reached for the gun" one more time, he'll be reaching for a gun himself. But never the less, he was feeling better.

Roman was backstage but he could still see Virgil through the curtains. He smiled seeing Virgil bobbing his head to the music.

"Awww does Romie have a crush?" Sage teased from where they were sat making the massive feather fans for the 'All I care about is love' number.

"What?! No-No I don't"

"Sure, and I'm Batman. You haven't gone five minutes without looking over at him"

"I'm not looking at him. If I focus too much on these tiny sequins then I'll get eye strain so I lift my head up and look around and he happens to fall into my eyesight"

"Okay sure. Oh, by the way, your crush is gone"

"What?!"

Roman whipped his head around so fast it should've done the Beetlejuice head spin. He found Virgil still sitting exactly where he was a few minutes ago but was now talking to one of the dancers on the stage. Sage was laughing so hard that they couldn't breathe properly and started wheezing. Virgil looked over, hearing the sound of Sage dying of laughter, raising an eyebrow and pointing behind Roman towards Sage,
