As we walked in, a wave of panic hit me... dejavú from last time I was in a crowd this big... Felix steadied me with a look of concern in his eyes. "Hey, look at me" I looked up at him. "We're gonna go in there, you will walk straight ahead and not look at anyone. Stop and wait for me by the elevator, there should be no crowd there." I gulped, "But, I am a guard–" "And you will pretend to be one until you reach the elevator. After the guys and I are done greeting the fans, I'll pick you up by the elevator and we will go on a date." He smiled at me warmly and I nodded, trying my best to return the smile.
I did just as he told me to. I had my game-face on as I walked past the lively crowd. Almost there, you're doing great Y/n, come on! I looked up and noticed a fan holding a huge pre-debut photo of Felix and tried my best to hold back my laughter.

That's why I didn't notice another photo that was lying on the floor, and slipped on it, managing to atleast break the fall with my hands. I felt a ton of eyes on me and someone, who I assumed was Felix, practically lifting me up back onto my feet. I heard people laughing, felt flashes of cameras. "Isn't she supposed to be the bodyguard?" "What an embarrassment" "Quit your job!" "Hey Felix! Over here!" "Why is he hugging her? Is there something going on between them?" I turned to Felix but he immediately pushed me away, I stumbled and almost fell again. I was lucky that my sunglasses disguised the pain in my eyes. He continued waving at the cameras and smiling, giving finger hearts. He gave me a slight push and signaled towards the elevator. I came back to myself and practically ran towards the elevator. After a couple of minutes of heavy breathing and slowing down my heartbeat, Felix joined me. We stood there in silence. "Let's go to dinner. I'm hungry" he broke the silence. I nodded, refusing to address the fact that he hurt my feelings, knowing that I was being petty.
The restaurant was obviously very fancy. Other than us there was just another couple and a young man. It was silent for a while and I couldn't stand it any longer, "Hey..." "Hm?" Felix looked up at me, completely unbothered by the atmosphere. "...Um...What are you ordering?" "Pesto pasta." "Ah..ok." I couldn't do it.
Felix POV We ordered and once again sat in silence. She seemed mad for some reason...was it because I pushed her and acted cold? But she should know at this point that that was for her own protection! I didn't think I had anything to apologize for so I stayed quiet. I heard a slam on the table. "Are you gonna say anything? If you won't apologize atleast start a conversation or something!" "Why don't you start one? I'm sorry I'm really tired so right now my brain isn't working, I just got off a 12 hour flight and I got no sleep and large crowds of people can be very draining...Also I don't see what I should apologize for." I practically shouted and instantly regretted it. Her eyes started getting teary and her lips formed into a pout. I began panicking. Shit! Please don't start crying I'm so sorry! But for some reason I couldn't bring myself to say anything so I just stared at her with panicked eyes. "Don't worry. I'm not gonna cry and ruin your reputation." She said in a surprisingly steady tone. I gulped and sat back down in my chair in utter confusion about how we even got into this situation... I remember at some point one of the guys told me that sometimes it's better to apologize and sacrifice your pride when you don't think you're at fault, than risk ruining the relationship. Yeah. This is my fault.
Reader POV I felt my eyes well up with tears. No! Fuck! Don't start crying now! I saw his eyes widen in panic. Ah. Of course he's scared that if I'm caught crying around him, people might see him as a bad person and spread rumors. I better stop. I slowly drew in a breath and calmed myself. "Don't worry. I'm not gonna cry and ruin your reputation." He instantly relaxed and I felt a pang in my heart. So I was right. He didn't want to ruin his reputation. I stood up but saw the waiter coming with the food so I sat back down. Felix looked at me with a questioning look and I glared at him. "What you thought I would leave without eating? This is a hella good restaurant that I could usually not afford to eat at, but since you're paying I don't care what's going on between us right now but Imma eat everything." I said coldly. He chuckled as the waiter put the food down on the table.
Felix POV She sat there eating angrily. I wanted to offer her some of my food to try, but after seeing the visible negative energy coming off-of her, I decided it was best that I did not.
Damn this girl can eat. She had devoured all her courses and even stole some of mine. Luckily I am a smart man so I did not dare complain. When she was done, she wiped her face with the napkin, glared at me once more, got up and just left. Leaving me staring after her in amused, nervous confusion. No. I gotta fix this. I gotta do something. But what? I stood up, told the waiter to charge the meal to my manager's card, yeah i couldn't afford this restaurant either lol, and took the elevator up to my room. Changbin opened the door and without hesitation said, "You fucked up didn't you." I gave a small nod and walked past him into the room where Jeongin was already sleeping. On my bed. Changbin turned around but didn't move. "So what. You're just gonna call it a day now? Go clean up your mess and apologize." "How? I-. I don't think she'll want to see me tonight. Either way she already went to her hotel..." Changbin walked up to me and placed both his hand son my shoulders. "Make-up sex man."
Reader POV I collapsed on the bed as soon as I got back. I took a nice hot shower and blasted music because there was no way that he will be occupying any more of my thoughts tonight. 3 quiet knocks sounded on the door. ?? Maybe someone mixed up their room? I quickly put on a bathrobe and went to open the door. Our eyes met and he pulled me into a tight hug. "I'm so sorry." Felix. It took a moment for me to respond but I quickly hugged him back, smiling against his shoulder. He pulled away, "I shouldn't have pushed you and acted so cold. My stupid pride got in the way of apologizing earlier. And...I'm just...a bad boyfriend I'm sorry I had to ruin our first evening like this." "Shut up. It was my fault too. I know you were doing it to protect me but I acted petty and selfish." Then I realized. It was midnight. His manager didn't allow him to stay up past 11?! I looked at him in confusion. "But what are you doing here?" In response he closed the door and flipped the card that said 'Please Clean!' to 'Do Not Disturb'.
