This is right after Remus and Roman found out Logan changed to a dark side.

TW: tears, dark! Virgil, dark! Roman, dark! Logan, Remus, angst, and swearing.

Virgil was crying silently in his room. He had heard everything said in the video. Janus was accepted.

And that hurt. It had taken him so long and had taken so much work to get accepted. But Janus seemed to just get a free pass.

Virgil looked up as he heard a knock on the door.

"Hey Virgil, it's me, Roman. Remus is with me. Can we come in?"

Oh great, Virgil thought. He wiped the tears off of his face, trying to at least look slightly presentable.

"Come in," he called out. His door opened, exposing Roman and Remus. They shut the door behind them, walking over and sitting on Virgil's bed with him.

"I'm guessing you know what went on in the video," Roman said quietly.

"Yeah. Roman, you are loved. And Remus, there isn't a bad twin. Neither of you are bad," Virgil whispered.

Both Roman and Remus looked shocked at Virgil's words, but they looked slightly happier after hearing them.

"Thanks, V. But we have a problem," Remus stated.

"What is it?" Virgil asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Logan sort of turned-" Roman started.

"Into a dark side," Remus finished.

"Ah. So the nerd figured out how to switch without approval. No big surprise there. Also, when did the sentence thing start?" Virgil asked.

"Oh um it's cause-"

"We were split," Remus finished. Virgil nodded slightly, as if it had confirmed something in his head.

"Well alright. I do kind of remember that. But anyway, why did Logan become a dark side?" Virgil questioned. His eyes glinted curiously.

"He said something about how being a light side never did anything for him. And he didn't look like he was completely drained of emotions," Roman stated.

"You guys didn't listen to him. But Patton listened to Deceit. He must have been upset about not getting listened to again. But I'm not sure why that was drastic enough to want to change sides," Virgil muttered.

"Well, let's go ask," Remus said excitedly.

"Oh you always did have a crush on him, didn't you? He must be even hotter now in his dark side outfit," Virgil stated, smirking at Remus who instantly turned red. Roman have a slight scoff at the fact that Virgil called Logan hot.

"Wha- no- he's not-" Remus sputtered.

"Oh I know you Remus. Don't forget I used to be a dark side. And don't worry Princey, Logan isn't my type," Virgil said with an even bigger smirk.

Both Remus and Roman went bright red, stuttering out incoherent words. Virgil's smirk remained on his face the whole time as he snickered at the flustered twins.

"Let's go, bitches. Unless you don't want to see what's up with Logan?"

When they got to the dark side, Logan was sitting in the common room staring blankly at the wall.

"Dang, specs. They weren't kidding," Virgil stated, making Logan's head whip up to look at them.

"Salutations," Logan said in a monotone voice.

"I gotta question for you. Say Roman and I both became dark sides as well. What would happen to Thomas?" Virgil asked, sitting on the table across from Logan. Remus and Roman looked at Virgil with wide eyes.

"In theory, nothing. Dark sides aren't here to hurt Thomas. We all have a function. Dark sides are just perceived as the bad sides. In reality, we are all neutral," Logan said. His voice sounded almost robotic with the layering that was over all the dark sides' voices.

Virgil seemed to think about this for a minute, and the common room was silent. Then Virgil broke out into a smile and looked at Roman.

"How about we prove a point to both Janus and Patton?" Virgil asked, jumping off of the table.

"It can be reversed, right? If I don't like it I mean," Roman said quietly. Virgil nodded. "Then why not?"

Logan got up and followed them over to the hallway between the dark and light sides.

"Do you even know what to say?" Logan asked, though his voice was still empty.

"Yep," Virgil said with a smirk before whispering what to say in Roman's ear. Roman blushed at the closeness, but nodded. "Let's do this."

"Dark transition," Roman and Virgil said at the same time. There was a flash of dark purple and red light as their voices warped.

When the light cleared, Roman was looking at himself in shock while Virgil was low key checking him out.

Virgil's outfit hadn't changed at all. Well, besides his eyeshadow that became darker. And his hair was a deep purple.

Roman, however, had definitely changed. His hair was a dark red, and he had dark red lipstick and eyeshadow.

He was now wearing a dark red crop top with a gold crown symbol on the front. He was wearing black shorts with fishnet leggings and thigh high stilettos. There was also a dark gold crown sitting crookedly on his head.

He was looking at his outfit in total shock, not having expected it to change that much.

"Damn Princey," Virgil said.

"Oh shut up hot topic," Roman snapped, but the words had no bite.

"Awe, you think I'm hot," Virgil teased. Roman just blushed.

"So what do we do now?" Logan asked.

"Now we teach Patton and Janus that they were wrong."

933 words.
