couple of days later, yamaguchi informed y/n that they—the volleyball team, would not be in miyagi for three days. y/n was well aware that they'll be undergoing training, but she definitely had no idea that the karasuno team was about to have practice matches in tokyo.

since y/n wasn't really busy these days, and since her best friends are not around, she decided to visit tokyo to see her brother.
y/n unquestionably missed both keiji and her favorite friend in tokyo—bokuto.

"fukurodani will have practice matches with different schools?" y/n asked while she excitedly waited for her brother's reply.

"yeah. it'll be a long week, y/n," keiji replied, ruffling y/n's hair. "do you want to come? nekoma will be there."

her eyes lit up upon hearing her brother's response. "really? that'd be great since i've missed lev and the others already," she smiled while visualizing the first time she met the team.

keiji hummed in response. "just so you know, we'll have to visit fukurodani first. that's why you should have get a good rest tonight."

"keiji, you're the best!"
"no, that's you dummy. now, rest."

"BOKUTO-SAN!" y/n exclaimed, running towards fukurodani's ace.
"HEY HEY HEY Y/N-CHAN, I MISSED YOU!" bokuto yelled out, raising both his hands for a high five.

"YEAH, SAME!" y/n said, making the both of them giggle.

"y/n, bokuto, don't scream. it's too early in the morning." konoha instructed, making bokuto and y/n gasp. the rest of the team nervously laughed at the behavior of the two dorks.
"got it, sorry!" y/n apologized. keiji took a glance of his sister before he leisurely looked away, and stifled a laugh.

"bokuto-san, would you prefer—" keiji was cut off by bokuto who was enthusiastically wiggling his eyebrows at him.
"i'll sit beside y/n please!" bokuto exclaimed once more. the rest of the team nodded, allowing him do whatever he desires.

"OKAAAY, HERE WE GOOOO!!" bokuto shouted, earning a laugh from y/n.

"WHAT THE HELL, KARASUNO'S HERE?! what in the motherfucking coincidence is this," y/n exclaimed which made both fukurodani and karasuno teams stifle a laugh.

upon hearing a familiar voice, tsukishima made his way towards her, knowing it was his best friend.
he definitely wasn't confused nor shocked for he knew that akaashi keiji's the name of her brother and that he goes to fukurodani.

"why are you here?"
"because i wanted to see how keiji and bokuto are doing! what are you doing here?"

"we're obviously having a practice match, idiot." tsukishima flicked y/n's forehead, immediately looking away right after.
"HEY!"

"what's with tsukishima and that lady?" daichi asked at the background, observing the interaction between tsukishima and y/n.

"we're actually best friends, the three of us. she's in class 1-5." yamaguchi replied, earning "oooh" from the third years and the second years.

"AKAASHI-SAN! YOU'RE HERE!" hinata exclaimed, running his way to her. upon his arrival, tsukishima and y/n fell silent. they glanced at hinata and kageyama who was currently standing infront of them.

"oh, akaashi-san. hello." kageyama muttered, giving y/n a short bow as sort of respect.

tsukishima raised his eyebrow, and faced y/n. "you know this freak duo?" he asked, trying to act disinterested.

"yeah i met them before. they were talking to the vice principal that time i saw them.. i think?" y/n replied while she nervously scratched the back of her head. "we met three times already so this is basically the fourth one." she added.

"HINATA-KUN, KAGEYAMA-KUN, YO!" y/n raised her arms, earning a high five from the both of them.

after that, she took a glance of the remaining members of karasuno and bowed. "nice meeting you, i'm akaashi y/n, a first year from class 5—"

she was interrupted upon hearing a chuckle from a silver-haired boy, sugawara, who made his way to y/n. "we know. yamaguchi here already informed us. nice meeting you too!" Sugawara replied, and showed her a genuine smile.

y/n glanced at the rest of the team, only to see them grinning (except the dino dork of course) trying their best to make her feel comfortable and calm.

karasuno has some pretty cool members, how come i didn't know this..
i'm starting to love every volleyball team i meet.
