(Quick update to remind that this story's still going on😂)

"You pre-ordered the album and you never told me!?" I asked in surprise.

She shrugged as she replied, "Well, considering the fact that they're debuting in two more days and the member line up and stuff has already been announced, isn't it obvious?" she asked doubtfully shrugging her shoulders.

I gapped as my left hand rubbed my temples and I frowned.

"I'm such a horrible friend, I didn't even give a thought about buying the album" I pouted as I sat on the couch, hands crossed.

Areum sighed as she sat beside me.

"You know there ain't a need for you to be so dramatic don't you?" she asked. I rolled my eyes, reluctant to answer.

"Well Miss Hwang, I've been a kpop fan for 3 years now and honestly speaking, do you listen to kpop stuff?" she questioned and I shook my head sluggishly.

"Do you listen to music at all?" she asked, trying to be calm.

"Have you heard of One Direction?" I asked slowly.

"So you don't listen to Korean songs. I don't blame you" she said.

"You didn't know Han, That's not your fault," She said as I shook my head, facepalming.

"At least now that you know you would wanna do some amends right?" She asked raising her brows and I nodded.

"Get us tickets for the debut stage" She announced as she stood up to grab her bag.

I looked at the girl who took a scrunchie to tie her hair casually, in disbelief.

"You serious?" I asked and she shrugged casually.

"You've got brains, as well as contacts. Use it.Take your sling pouch and let's go before we run late to work" she said as she threw me my sling pouch before leaving the house.

-

"I can't believe I'm actually attending a debut stage!" She squealed as I smiled.

"The boys would be surprised and happy," I said and she nodded.

Today was June 13th, the day the boy band Bangtan Sonyeondan would finally debut.

Their lead single's mv was released yesterday and today was their debut showcase.

I really hoped Jimin's new journey would be great.

He deserves to shine brighter in life, he's such a hardworking, sweet and a humble guy.

And knowing the other 6 guys, I feel like they deserve it too.

We waited excitedly, talking about how the boys would rock it.

Finally, the performance began.

I and Arie jumped excitedly, shouting and cheering the boys.

They sang fiercely with passion, as they moved their bodies in sync with hip-hop music. The rap line, rapped as if they'll never perform again, while the vocal line's performance was no way less. Specifically, the maknae, who played a main role in the performance.

I enjoyed the performance thoroughly, celebrating every minute.

As soon as the performance was over, I and Areum made our ways backstage.

We waited till the boys completed their debut showcase.

The boys were talking among themselves and Jimin grinned widely as he spotted us.

"You rocked it!" I exclaimed as Arie went to talk to Rapmon-ssi.

"Would you guys mind to sign these albums?" I heard Arie shyly say as she took our newly bought albums from her bag before grabbing her marker.

"Surely, we're honoured," Rapmon-ssi said and the members nodded.

"Finally we've debuted" Jimin exhaled in relief, tears filling his eyes.

"There's a bright journey awaiting you" I smiled in affirmation.

"fingers crossed," he said as he smiled at me. I smiled back.

"Jimin-ssi, mind signing our albums?" Asked Arie as she passed the albums and the marker.

He chuckled before signing them.

"Okay we'll leave, you guys would be busy," Arie said and I nodded, agreeing.

We bid the boys goodbye and before we left, We bumped into a familiar person.

"Annyeonghaseyo Bang PD-nim, How are you doing?" I bowed.

"I'm doing good Miss Hwang, how was the performance?" he asked and I smiled.

"They're great, I'm so happy for you and them"

"I'm just sad that they are unable to get the promotions they deserve" he let out before giving me a sad smile.

"Get going Miss Hwang and I'm glad you accepted my offer," He said before leaving me and Arie alone.

We made our way home chitchatting about Arie's favourite kpop idols.

As soon as we made our way in Arie's smile slowly faded.

"What's wrong Arie?" I asked genuinely worried.

"Is it about the guys?" I asked and she nodded.

"What about them is making you so worried?"

"I just don't know how the industry is going to treat them"
