Jercy in High School

Chapter 1

Jason's POV:

Jason didn't want to move schools again. His family was constantly moving around because of his dads work. His dad was Zeus Grace, the owner of many company's around the U.S.A, and that made him, none other than Jason Grace. Now you might think Jason would be really popular, athletic, or whatever, but in reality Jason was pretty shy, he didn't want to open up to very many people because he knew he would eventually have to leave them. Anyway, Jason isn't exactly what you would call popular, in all honesty, Jason is a huge nerd. So moving schools again, wasn't exactly something Jason was looking forward to. He was headed to Goode High school, and he didn't really know what to expect. On the bright side though, Jason surprisingly knew two people who attended at Goode, his two best friends that he'd met online a few years ago. Frank Zhang, and Reyna Ramirez. He was super excited to finally meet his friends in real life!

Jason rolled out of bed on the first day of school landing on the hardwood floors with a loud thud. He really wasn't looking forward to this. He slowly began to stretch when the sound of loud heavy metal blasted from his sisters room. Ugh, Thalia. He muttered to himself. After a few minutes of just lying on the ground and contemplating whether or not he could stay there all day, Jason finally stood up. He walked over to his walk-in closet and picked out a pair of denim jeans, a plain blue shirt, and a white hoodie. At this point he could hear his sister singing along to her music. Jason was surprised she hadn't gone deaf yet. Suddenly a loud pounding was heard on Jason's door and a second later Thalia was standing in Jason's room. "What's up little bro? You ready for the first day of school?" Thalia asked excitedly. What was she in such a cheerful mood this morning? She hates waking up! "Mmm, not really." Jason answered. "Oh come on! It'll be great! You'll meet lots of new people make some new friends! Maybe even a boyfriend?" Thalia winked as she said the last part. "I doubt that, anyway, why are you in such a good mood this morning?" Jason questioned. "What do you mean! I'm always in this good of a mood!!" She laughed sarcastically. "Can't I just be in good mood for once?" "I guessss, it's just weird!" Jason said. "Oh whatever, oh ya also, there's breakfast on the stove if you want it." Thalia quickly said before turning and walking back to her room. Jason finished making his bed and then grabbed his backpack and headed downstairs.

He had eggs, toast and a glass of OJ. By the time he finished Thalia came running down the stairs yelling at someone through her phone. "Okay, yes, you'll meet him today! Okay, love you bye!" Jason heard Thalia's side of the conversation. He raised his eyebrows questioningly but Thalia just waved him off. The two sibling headed out the door and hopped in their Jeep. "I have someone I want you to meet." Thalia nervously said. "Who?" Jason asked. "You'll see." Thalia muttered. The rest of the ride to school was spent in silence. Thalia was super nervous, she kept flipping through stations the entire way. Jason was nervous to though, what if he couldn't make any friends? What if people decided to bully him? He decided not to think about those things. He tried hard to convince himself that everything would go just fine.

The Grace siblings pulled up to the school and parked by the front entrance. It was a pretty large school, mostly brick, kinda old. Thalia quickly turned off the car and hopped out of the drivers seat. Jason reached into the backseat and snatched his backpack. He turned back and jumped out of the passenger seat. He looked around scanning the area for his older sister. She was standing by the sore holding hands with, "REYNA!" The girls head whipped around, "JASON?" She asked? Turning back to Thalia she said "you never told me that your annoying little brother was Jason!" "Wait, you guys know each other?!" Thalia asked annoying Reyna's question. "Uhmm ya, haha, we've known each other for almost a year now! I met him online!" Thalia glanced over at Jason who had now walked over to the group. "Woah thats crazy, here I was thinking that I would be introducing you to my girlfriend but you already know her!" Thalia laughed. "So much for being nervous!" "Wait, GIRLFRIEND?!" Jason shouted. "Uhh ya...." Thalia muttered. "That's amazing!!" Jason said. "Oh good, I was worried for a second." Thalia let out a sigh. "We should probably get going." Reyna said, I want to give you guys a quick tour before the bell rings! "Oh ya, you're probably right." Thalia said. "Okay let's go then!" Jason added.

Reyna headed inside dragging Thalia in after her. Jason walked along beside the adorable couple. Reyna started off with the principals office then turned a few corners pointing out classrooms, bathrooms and other things. Once the little tour was finished the small group walked back to the main area. "Oh wait one more place!" Reyna said quickly, already dragging me and Thalia along behind her. "I gotta show you the gym, change rooms, and pool!" "There's an entire pool in here?" I asked. "Yup!" Reyna said cheerfully. We slowed down a bit and walked through a few more hallways. Reyna waved and smiled to some of her friends until we rounded a corner and almost ran straight into a huge guy. "Frank!" Reyna shouted excitedly. "Hey Reyna! What's up? Wait, is that Jason?" Frank asked peering around Reyna to look at me. "Yup! Hey Frank!" I grinned. "Oh great! You're finally here!" He laughed. Frank looked over at Thalia, "oh hi there! You must be Thalia, Jason's sister right?" "Yup that's me!" She said giving him a nice smile. "Well it was great meeting you but I gotta go, my first class is on the other side of school so I have to get walking! I'll see you guys at lunch!" He jogged off down the hall. "Bye Frank" we all yelled after him.

We continued walking again, a few stops in front of me Reyna and Thalia talked to each other as they held hands. I silently fan-girled inside, they were so cute! I was really happy for my sister, she was so happy being herself and I was  proud of her. I wish I could find someone, I knew I was gay, but I'd never found someone that I really loved. I tried to push the depressing thoughts out of my head as I jogged to catch up with Thalia and Reyna. "Are we almost to the gym?" I asked. "Yup, it's just around this corner." Reyna answered. We rounded the corner and my eye caught on someone, he was gorgeous. I couldn't take my eyes off him, he had messy black hair, tanned skin, and oh my gods, his smile. I almost fainted, but instead I tripped over a garbage can. I cursed myself silently, what if he just saw me, he will think I'm a complete idiot. Reyna and Thalia came running over, "Jason are you okay?" Reyna asked worriedly. "You look like an idiot." Thalia was laughing at me. "Oh shut up!" I blushed lightly. My eyes averted back to the hot guy, he looked popular, he was standing in a large group of people laughing at something, the black haired guy looked kinda nervous a light blush dancing across his cheeks. Thalia quickly took note of my stare as Reyna helped me off the ground. "Who are you looking at Jase?" She asked sarcastically. "What! Uhhh, no one?" I quickly spat out, it was obvious I had been staring at the good looking guy. "OooooOoooOh" Reyna picked up on my blush and looked over to where I was staring, "that's Percy, Percy Jackson, star of the swim team, he's superrrr popular. All the girls like him and all the guys want to be him." Reyna winked at me, "except maybe one wants to be with him." Reyna giggled at my intense blush. I looked over to where he was standing one more time, he was looking at me! Shoot I mentally slapped myself I'm such an idiot. We made eye contact, I thought I might have even seen a blush on his cheeks.
