Jercy in High School

Chapter 3

Jason's POV:

Dam, he was really hot. That's basically all I could think about all morning. I didn't even know him! I've never talked to to him and yet I'm already so obsessed with him. What's wrong with me!? I would go up and talk to him but what would I say? One, I'd probably stutter so much! Two, how would I start a conversation? Like, hey I thought you were so hot that I literally tripped over a trash can when I saw you?? He'd think I'm a total freak!

I made my way through my first and second periods without any struggles. Obviously I got a few looks from some people, being the new kid and all, but that was normal enough. I made my way down the hall with Frank, I was really happy when I found out that I had at least one class with my friend! Math class was just up ahead and I wasn't exactly thrilled. That is until I saw a mop of black hair make his way into the classroom. I took a deep breath before walking in with Frank. Keep your head down, I instructed myself, don't stare at him, I told myself harshly. I looked up. Dammit. I need to stop staring at him before he notices me, I just couldn't seem to look away. Then Frank helped me to snap out of my daze, "hey Jason are you going to try out for the football team this year?" I had been playing football for a few years so I looked over at him and said "yeah of course!" "Great!" He said cheerfully, "what position do you play?"Normally quarterback" I stated simply. "Oh." I noticed his gaze shift over to where Percy sat, joking around with his huge group of friends. "That might be a bit of a problem." He muttered. "Why?" I asked him. "Well, Percy Jackson is the star quarterback. You've heard about him right?" Frank said. "Yea, I've heard about him." I chuckled quietly to myself as I remembered my little stumble this morning. "So what are you going to do?" Frank asked me. "I don't know, I suppose I'll have to figure something out." I shrugged my shoulders, unaware of what to say. "Good morning class!" A middle aged woman walked briskly into the room, "I'm Miss Summers and I will be your Math teacher." She was wearing a business suite and had her hair pulled tightly into a high ponytail. "I assume everyone is in a good mood today, seeing as it's the first day of school, so I've decided not to put a damper on the mood." She stated looking around the class, everyone was paying her their full attention. "This period will be a free period, but before you get all excited I want to you to understand that this will be a one time thing." The whoops and shouts immediately died down, "one more thing students, I ask that you please introduce yourself to at least one person you haven't talked to or met before. I want to make sure everyone is getting along well so I think this is a good enough place to start." She looked around at us once more, "alright then, I suppose that's all then. If anyone needs me I'll be doing paperwork at my desk." With that she turned sashayed her  way to the front of the room and quickly sat down. I turned back to Frank, "so, what now?" I asked. "Well I suppose we go find someone to talk to..." frank slowly said as he stood up. "I'm guessing you don't know very many people so how about I introduce you to some of my friends!" "Ya sure, that'd be great!" I quickly got to my feet and followed frank over to the other side of the room, he looked back at me and said: "have you met Percy? Ill introduce you to him and his friends!" I let out a slow breath but my heart was already pounding as I saw the dark haired boy look over at us.

I'm so sorry that this chapter is really short!! I'll be getting into more of the Jercy stuff really soon I'm just trying to not rush it!
