Percy's POV (again, sorry, Jason will be the next chapter tho!)

Honestly if someone were to come up to me today and say "hey Percy you're outfit is looking like trash today." I would have no choice but to look them in the eyes and tell them they've gone insane. My fit was looking absolutely fire with the help of my best friends. Piper had picked out a pair of baggy black jeans and a white oversized t-shirt, Annabeth had selected a large blue and white flannel. To go with the outfit they had advised me to wear my black converse with it. (Look at the top picture to see outfit.)

I walked through the halls with Annabeth as we headed to lunch. I'd only had one class with Jason so far but not much had happened. We had made eye contact a couple times but he always looked away as soon as our eyes met, almost as if he was scared to look at me. The thought of it unnerved me. I was starting to wonder if I had done something. I couldn't remember doing or saying anything stupid, but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if I had. I had a big reputation of running my mouth. It's something that I really need to work on. I'm scared one day I'm going to get myself, or worse, someone I love in trouble because I don't know when to shut up. I'm not great with words, especially with him. I was called out of my trance by Leo calling me over to his table. Annabeth and I parted ways so she could go sit with Piper and I headed over to Leo and the rest of the football team. The thought of hurting Jason kept following me around like a shadow. "Hey Perce, why so glum?" Leo said questioning my demeanour. I wasn't in a big mood to talk so I gave him a simple reply and for the next few minutes I sat listening to the conversation. Jason. That's all I could think about. The doors to the cafeteria swung open again, but this time a familiar face popped through. I instantly sat up straighter and ran a hand through my messy hair. My favourite blonde haired, blue eyed boy. Jason was walking through the doors. His hair seemed more messy than normal and he had huge eye bags. I hope he's okay. Maybe I should ask him about it. No. That would be weird. Before I could continue arguing with myself another blonde walked through the doors, close on Jason's heels. Luke? What the hell? I must've looked even more confused than usual because Leo poked me in the ribs, "Dude, you okay?" I couldn't speak. I was furious. No, I'm not mad, I just feel like my heart has been wrenched from my body. "I'm fine." I sneered, as I got up from my seat. I fastened my pace as I hurried out of the cafeteria. I made eye contact with Luke, he smirked at me as his arm found its way around Jason's shoulder. Isn't that dandy, the only two people I've ever liked acting like a new couple. How does that even make sense. It doesn't matter. I blasted through the hall doors slamming them behind me.

Well, don't we just love a little plot-twist. Teehee. Anyway I hope yall liked this chapter! Please comment🤠😼
